    OP, show us the video.

I have Blackvue's setup. Was helpful when a guy rummaged through my truck due to leaving the door unlocked.

I have a front one but need a rear facing one for this reason. Was scraped by a teen texting and driving and I have no video proof to pursue charges even tho they just scraped the plasti dip off my rear bumper cap.

I tried to upload the video, but file too large
    It’s a 60 second video
I believe 60 frames per minute

It’s minor damage to rear bumper. No big deal except for being inconvenienced and a car fax hit I’m sure. Since it’s 100% his fault I’m requesting diminished value compensation. Since it’s a new truck with 2K miles I’m pretty sure I’ll be compensated. Insurance uses a third party to arbitrate a fair value.
    Always
    Always
Request diminished value if it’s 100% the other drivers fault.

They give you some extra money noe because the accident could be used to reduce value later if you sell.

Diminished value correlates to the impact of selling or trading a car that’s been into an accident. All police reports are sent to states DMV and eventually end up on carfax. The diminished value is the difference of a similar truck selling point without an accident. Think about any trades, first thing dealership does is run your vin through carfax
Also any competent dealership will be able to detect an accident.
The accident even after truck is fixed, I’m left with less value to a similar truck due to carfax

I keep going back and forth on getting one for my truck and my wife's vehicle. I had 2 of the blackvue 2 channel setups in my Amazon basket yesterday.

How are you guys runnin parking mode for dash cams? The fuse tap power apparently can drain you battery really quick? You can run the auto cut off at a certain battery drain, but it wont record after that, so long parking periods a no go. Additional battery packs are expensive too

Footage is really good even at night. (1440p) It's only a single channel though. Has lower bit rate or time lapse buffered parking mode before low voltage cutoff. Good for about 24 hrs I think.
