So much shit to do before Moab, and zero progress.

I think it’s a rule or something that you’re scrambling right up to the day you head out. At least it’s that way for me.

Yea it’s amazing how many projects get done when you have no time. You headed out with us in a couple weeks?

No, my lady and I are going out there in October. The same weekend as RT, I think, although we won’t be running tons of trails. Mostly we’re out there to camp, get away from the kids, eat good food, and ride our bikes.

In a perfect world, I’d be out there with you crazy bastards in a couple weeks and THEN out there again with my lady, but life isn’t that kind to me in that regard right now. All this damned adulting is killing my buzz :p

It’s amazing how productive I can be when I leave myself way less time than I should have.

Part of my problem is that my list is all small shit. Lots of small shit. I’d almost rather be trying to wrap up a big project, as odd as that might sound.

That was a pretty sweet cruise though! I’ve always wanted to do that one.

I think my problem is I'm trying to manage two projects at once and I'm dealing with that by ignoring both projects :anonymous:

It’s pretty much my go to.
It’s even more fun when you take on three or four. I tell myself I’m multitasking to make up for the fact that I’m never really done with any of them, ever.

Hope to see you out at Moab. I might not be in the truck at the rate I'm going, but I'll be there.

It would be great to see you out there, Brett!

Here’s hoping that everything comes together for you and more importantly, that more shit doesn’t break in the meantime :D

I had some scraps of kydex laying around so I made a weather cover (for lack of a better term) for my winch drum. This should keep most of the snow, rain, dirt, mud, and UV off of the rope and help prolong its life a bit.

It’s not the prettiest, but I don’t really care. It’ll do what it’s supposed to do.

    Thanks, Mike.

It’s a little thing, but it was something that I could get done in an hour or two and then see some progress on the truck.
