Yes, usually the same 4 or 5 every year. Then there is about 8 during goose season. This year there probably won’t be anyone unless they are hunting ducks. Water is over most of it.

I hunt whitetail deer. They spend a lot of time in the corn fields (bedding, eating) but I have no idea if elk hang out in them.

Around here, duck hunters will lease a small water hole in a field for thousands of $.

Yeah, me too! I’ve got 2 of the four pumps running and the other 2 are broke down. Those 2 are not making any headway.

They talk about it every single day. It sounds like a good time. They are actually hunting out on one of the farms out north rn. They go almost every night. Archery only. Both have elk tags and antelope tags. And one also has a deer tag for the same area.

Sounds like a blast. You should go once. Even if you just sit at a waterhole waiting on antelope, I bet you would enjoy it. The quiet is amazing.

I love being out in nature so i bet I would. When I went to Yellowstone that was probably my favorite part. Not the animals (also awesome) but seeing scenery, and waterfalls... hiked (forever) to one I had never seen in all the times i been there. 'Pixie falls' if I am remembering correctly.

They want to set me up on a ridge and glass for them when I go. Sounds like fun. Text them what i see. And just chill.

Nothing to be sorry about, it’s just life farming river bottom ground. Win some, lose some.

Yeah still. I've noticed for the crops that did make it through to this point out mainly corn looks horrible. Doubt there is much of a crop here. There's still some roads closed. Just not a good year. Feel bad for folks.
