Amazon ARB 3423030 front bumper??

Has anyone seen anything like this before? I opened a link from an old thread that directed me to this page that I posted. I ended up buying this product but am slightly confused as to why the price was so cheap compared to normal prices of $900+. I just hope its an actual ARB model bumper that I wanted. Very interesting.

 

That is the price of the bull bar, not the bumper.

 

Could be. The only thing that is weird is it had the same model number listed as the entire thing.

I was was going for the entire front bumper. I'll check it out when I get it and see if I'll use it or return it or sell it.

 

It wouldn’t surprise me if you just got a good deal. I got one off Amazon a few years ago brand new for 330 shipped.

 

Yeah there was 2 in stock left last night and I figured I would try it. If worst came to worst I could resell it if it isn't what I am looking for. But if it is what I'm looking for, it is a killer deal.

 

Well I just went and looked up my order from years ago and the part numbers match up so...

 

That part # is for the full bumper (they just call it a Bull Bar in some cases). Down in Aussie land, they typically call the 'Roo Bars.

Same bumper that I have. I've modded the hell out of mine.

Well, turns out it was just a great deal. Arrived on Monday and got it put on this afternoon.

That's pretty amazing. Some shop somewhere sold it for super cheap perhaps without even realizing it!!

EDIT: I see it was 4WD Hardware (aka 4 Wheel Parts) that sold it at that price, they probably didn't even realize their mistake.

 

Thats the model with no fog light cutouts. Thats a huge price difference. ARB P/N 3423140 is the classic Tacoma bullbar (2012-15) that looks much like yours.

You got any more pictures? I wonder what else is different on it? Maybe gussets or mounting system..

 

It was just the fog lights and surround that's different. I remember when they made only the bumper without fogs (kind of plain) but then the other ARB bumpers had a fog light option, so then they added it as an option to this gen of Taco bumpers. Basically just cutting out the hole in the bumper differently and inserting the plastic surround and lights.

 

No way that's $500 difference..?

 

It's a price mistake, this whole post is.

With fogs is like $200-300 more than without (the fogs aren't included with the price, they have to be bought as an add-on), with proper retail pricing. ARB has always been super proud of their fog light design and additional cost they charge for it.

They screwed up and you got a great deal I guess. The price has already been fixed it's over $900 now.
