OP and anyone else that had to change there ways to get used to this adaptive cruise bullshit. Idk if you guys know but one trick that I found SUPER helpful is when you go to turn cruse on don’t press the button...... hold it for 3 seconds. The cruise light will come on, but keep watching the light and keep holding until the light changes to a different symbol. That’s your standard cruise control. Like the old style that we all like and are used to, no pop up bullshit, no slamming on the brakes, also I feel like it accelerates better than the adaptive one. Believe me, what ur talking about pisses me off more than you can imagine.

Haha I’m glad I could help. Because like I said that stupid pop up thing would furiate me and like @thedave1164 said, I totally agree, if I wanted someone else to drive I would’ve bought this truck. Good luck and hopefully your road trips are much better now!!

Damn... you're at almost 3/4 tank and showing 318 to empty.

I can top mine off and it always shows 333 miles to empty.

I'm one of those guys who happens to LIKE the adaptive cruise control. It's one of the best things about the truck.

What a bunch of BS in this thread!
It is an issue also for me! I am operating with km/h and when the lights are off in daylight, I cannot see the speed on the right indicator and the center is blocked for several seconds with this nonsense screen the OP has addressed. When I hit the brakes to reduce speed as per signs, it is helpful to know how fast you really are not to run into speed traps (which are typically at these locations in Europe). No need for "radar ready" indicator. Always pressing the return button is equally distracting. Tried the pop-up off, but no change.
Would prefer helpful comments to solve issues more than the BS posted.
