I have a chip on my shoulder b/c when I was 18, he was my doc in the ER for high blood sugar. My insulin infusion set came out without me realizing it, so I came to the ER. While in the ER, I found it and explained to him I would be fine. He told me I couldn't sign out AMA b/c my insurance wouldn't pay for it......he sent me to ICU for 5hrs until the morning hospitalist came in and discharged me.
I've been pissed since. He wasn't familiar with insulin pumps, so he put it off on someone else. I didn't like the fact he questioned my knowledge. I know more about diabetes than he does...…...stupid prick.

 

He also orders EVERY fucking test he can looking for shit to admit people for. He wants no responsibility of sending folks home. Fucking asshole

 

those are some of the worst doctors. i had one when i broke my arm (both bones) wrench it out of the nurses arms as she was cradling it trying to help me feel better. i think he even made the break move a little. (mind you i sat in the waiting room for 3 hrs. no meds and it was almost a compound fracture). then he "sets" it and says that its the best he could do. didnt even move it. 3 days later went to see a different doc who would of done the surgery if i needed it. he tried 3 different styles to set it. the one that worked was make the cast and while it was setting, he jerked the arm perfectly. took a xray, barely off center.
