I’d like to see the spread on the stock puddles. I like how it’s further from the body and a tilt down would be pretty bad ass.

The stock puddle lights with stock bulb do a pretty poor job at lighting up anything...

Currently driving a Lexus UX F Sport as a loaner.
All these features are really nice.
The tilt down is really useful on a stock mirror, wonder how hard the wiring would be.

Now a really neat feature, when I turn left or right, an auxiliary light shines in the direction you are going.
If it was from the Tacoma's mirror assembly, it would require fabricating a sort of lens to focus the light, but would be a great feature to have.

BC80C169-B8C3-4900-BBBD-0A2D82B40EB1.jpg Here is a closer look at 2014/2016 Highlander puddle lights. It’s held in with screws that’s removed after removal of the turn signal assembly. I should mention that the turn signal light snaps in place comes out separate not like it does on the Tacoma mirror. So say it’s like the 4RUNNER

Should be replaceable. 4runner guys switch it out with an LED all the time.
Or you can take switch it out for Meso's puddle lights for even crazier levels of brightness.

Is it possible for your vendor to source just the bottom black trim cover of a 2019 RAV4 Limited with Puddle Light and Camera?

I can ask my vendor again but I doubt it. I asked when doing my build because I wanted to do my Camera Mod and then the Puddle Light all OEM back in December, but it was a no go. I wanted to do that and then have MESO do his 4Runner Mirror Turn Signals for the 4Runners so I didn’t miss out on my Turn Signals being Smoked. That was my ultimate plan of attack with my mirrors but it didn’t work out. Still have holes in the future :) I know the turn signals are coming. Still working on the puddle lights

Yeah. The outter section is definitely a better placement for the puddle placement for that reason alone right there.

Just an FYI. Soon I will be creating a new thread titled Multi View Camera Interface. I will be putting some packages together where I will be selling to those that are interested in my camera setup and would like to add some Side Cameras to their Tacos or just some Multi View/Multi Functional Cameras to their truck.

A little Back Ground Story...I started this back in December and I’ve been going at it very very slowly. Along the way I have done a ton of different projects. I’ve done this one on the side during all of my others and that is how I continue to work at this one. Along the way, I’ve had help from @caribe makaira, @MESO, and since May, I partnered up with @N2DesignsInc. Like any project, when you first start with one idea, you toss up another idea, and another, until you finally land on your final design. Well that design has come and that is why it is getting close to releasing it for others to be able to purchase it.

I would like to thank @MESO for introducing me the Crux brand, oh I don’t know, back in March or April. Maybe even sooner than then. However, at that time when I checked on purchasing it, they would only sell it to vendors. Therefore, I couldn’t purchase it. It wasn’t until I ran into @N2DesignsInc when that door opened. With vendor status not being an issue, Crux being right their in their in his back yard, it was a no brainer. It worked out perfectly. We have since partnered up on this project and have been working together to make the best package that anyone would be interested in having on their truck. I truly think everyone is going to love what is to come. With my idea of this Multi View Camera Interface System, @MESO informing me that there is already a harness made to save me a lot of time that I could get, and @N2DesignsInc having Vendor status to be able to actually purchase the Crux Harness which is what I have been wanting for months in order to make my whole setup all come together. On top of that, @N2DesignsInc added a nice little touch of his own when I mentioned that I wanted Quad View so that I could see my Front, Rear, and two Side Cameras all at once, he mentioned well why don’t we add a DVR option. So...I am happy to say, that between the two of us, we have come up with what I say is going to be one of the best options you will be able to buy on the market. Even when the 2020 360 comes out. ;). Just wait.

Here are some Key Features of the two systems:

Multi View Camera Interface with A/V Input & Side Mirror-Mounted Cameras for Toyota Tacoma Trucks

    FEATURES:

It seamlessly integrates with the OEM Factory Entune Radio System for adding Front, Rear, 2 Side, and Wireless Cameras. This Unit can provide up to 6 Video Inputs and 1 A/V Input
    1. Adds a Reverse Camera Input, 6 Video plus 1 Audio/Video Inputs.
    2. Provides Input Connection for Aftermarket Multi View Integration Interface with A/V Input & Side Mirror-Mounted Cameras to the OEM Entune System Display Screen.
    3. Uses the Entune “APPS” System to toggle between the sources as each Input has its own “ICON” you can “SELECT” at “ANYTIME”.
    4. Turn Signals Automatically Triggers the Corresponding Side Mirror Camera.
    5. Turn Signal Camera Trigger can be Turned On or Off by using the Entune “APPS” System and “SELECTING” that Corresponding Side Mirror Camera “ICON” at “ANYTIME”.
    6. Video In-Motion features that are equipped with Entune “APPS” System. It includes Audio / Video Inputs for adding aftermarket devices. OEM Rear Camera included. - “ANYTIME MODE”
    7. Video Output will always default to the Signal from Input 1 when none of the Input Triggers are Activated. This Input is ideal for connecting the Rear (Reverse) Camera.
    8. The Input Triggers can accept either a pulsed or Constant Input, making them Ideal for Connecting to a Turn Signal as a Trigger.
    9. The Reverse Trigger Output will provide a 150 mA 12V+ Trigger while any of the Input Triggers are Activated.
    10. Upon Deactivation of the last positive or negative Trigger, the Last Video Input Source and the Reverse Trigger Output will remain Active for an Additional 5 Seconds.
    11. Compatible with OEM designed dash mounted Selector Switch to Activate Video Inputs Individually if you decide you do not want to use your “APPS” Screen and would rather connect to Switches in the Dash.
    12. Again, Back Up Camera can be Activated at ANYTIME without Engaging Reverse Gear.
    13. Programmable to Automatically Display Front Camera at Parking Speed At low speeds less than 15km/h (10mph), the Front Camera can be Automatically Displayed to Assist in Parking and Obstacle Avoidance.
The Ultimate In-Video Recording Technology with Mobile DVR System for Toyota Tacoma Trucks

Provides around-the-clock video surveillance recording for your vehicle. These recordings may be used in court to show proof of any event that took place such as: accidents, theft, vandalism or car jacking. It is a vehicle "black box" DVR system that can support up to four different cameras for simultaneous recording around the vehicle. The system uses (3) separate trigger inputs (Ignition, Security and Reverse) to initiate the recording of all four cameras and will store the recordings onto (3) individual files on a removable Mini SD Card. The recordings can be reviewed on-site through an LCD monitor or the Mini SD card can be removed and viewed on a computer.

    Other Key Add-Ons:

I personally will also be adding a Switch where I will be able to flip between my two Side Cameras at anytime, as well as my OEM Reverse Camera. The Crux does not allow you to do this with your OEM Reverse Camera. It only allows it with an Aftermarket Reverse Camera by way of the Reverse Camera Input.

There is so much to go over. This thing has so many key features. You just wait. Anyways, I just wanted to get a little teaser out there :bananadance:

Here are some pics of some things:

Yup, the top portion of a 2019 RAV4's mirrors is the same as a Tacoma's.
The hinge is different, but I believe the internal connections would be the same.
If the top is the same, and the connection to the hinge is the same, then the bottom black trim with the puddle light and camera molding should be easily swappable.

If I cannot buy the black trim separately, then I would buy the whole assembly.
But, I cannot seem to find the mirror online anywhere though...

Now I need to find some wreck 2019 RAV4 Limited.
