Maaaaaan how did I just find this thread? Before I knew what was happening my wallet was already in my hand.

Heart says :spending:, mind says... hey, mind says :headbang: check that out. After taking a few hours to confer with the old bank account we'll see what happens. :anonymous:

Thanks @Semper_Fi for setting this up, thanks to @ReveMoto for offering the sweet deal.

Y'all wild out here with these memes and comments! (Got me giggling early morning!)

I appreciate everyone's understanding about the clear coat not being able to be sprayed on the bottom, though. Thank you for that.
In the meantime while all your hoods are going through quality control, I do have a question.

I love cars and all, but want to understand why people want to "convert" to a different look.
For me, it's a financial thing. I love speed, but I don't have a need for speed (at the moment), but that "look" comes with the speed and a price I personally can't afford right now, lol.

Do you guys convert because you just like the DIY part of it or what? Because, not going to lie, these hoods aren't cheap (in my opinion anyways) so I am curious to hear your reasoning!
Please let me know for my future Vlog!

It’s fun making my truck mine (unique). My truck is my hobby. When I park my truck at work or anywhere. I always turn around and look at my truck. I don’t mind putting some money into it just to make me happy to make those monthly payment. I enjoy my truck.

    That's wholesome @Jessrin
I've been driving stock cars for so long that I've forgotten about "uniqueness".

I think it looks way meaner, and helps the truck stand out. Im in the same boat though, 1000 bucks is just not justifiable yet. Holding out for a trade, or possibly selling my OR hood to a buddy who runs a salvage car dealership if he ever gets a tacoma in with a crunched hood, then i'll get a new painted one. If I had the cash, i'd be all over this @ReveMoto

Everyone's financial situation is different. What is expensive for one may be nothing much to someone else. In my case I haven't bought shit for a few years and saved up a little for my truck. I've always liked better the look of sport model but wanted the off-roading capability options I got with the off-road model more. It's way cheaper and quicker to add this hood then to add the lockers, crawl control, etc... I'm getting this hood purely for it's badass looks, nothing more. And I don't care about the DYI aspect, you guys can come and install it for me if you want to, I'll stay out of your way and shop for some more @MESO mods and new bumpers. :D

Ahh, the mean and aggro look. (I personally am in favor of those looks.)
Fun fact, we just started the financing program and I know for sure you can do 12 months financing at a decent APR.
0% APR is available too if your credit checks out.

I had a mentor one time told me that that price is only a momentary thing, but the item itself will last you much longer/provide a special type of satisfaction.
And then he continued to say: "Not like it's a disease, just buy the darn thing!" - He was a hoot.

I see and totally understand why changing just the hood is the better deal for you. All very interesting reasons.

I actually have been looking into getting contractors nationally to install our parts so that we can provide even more convenience for y'all, but researching all that jazz takes sooooo much time.
Maybe it will be implemented by next year? Who knows.
Love all your reasons so far though!

I’m being patient.. I want to make sure that paint is dry. With shipping there’s going to be a lot of shaking and rubbing going on. Best to be safe than sorry...

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend!
Sorry I didn't get to update you because I had to leave work early.
I asked for an update and my manager said they should ship out this week. We've been crazy busy and I do apologize for the wait.
If I get photos of the item all buffed, I'll be sure to post it. Thank you!

I have a few questions about shipping to Hawaii.

What would be a rough estimate in shipping cost?

How would this be shipped? Would it be able to be shipped to a residence, or would this need to be picked up at a young brothers or something to that extent.

I recently came into some money, and you know the saying....

    You only die once.

    Hawaii/Alaska/Canada has a $149.99 freight fee

Working on getting you the best answer. Will have to confirm with @ReveMoto but I believe when your hood gets to Hawaii the frieght company would call you to schedule delivery to your residence.

There's another saying... He who dies with the most toys still dies.:D
