As a kid it is, as an adult my dream side job would be a brewery that also serves food. I would do it for free if only for the discount.

Ive found food trucks in california to be over priced and underwhelming with small portions. Yeah some have good food, but after being to portland, they just fall short here in cali. Though Ive never had the experience of Roy Choi's food truck. I would say its the world famous chef that has people following that truck

You get some gems sometimes. My favorite food truck is Señor Sisig, it’s Mexican Filipino fusion.

They’re pretty successful, they were on Guy Fieri’s show. They have eight trucks around the Bay Area every day. One parks outside the Science building here on campus every other week. I waited in line 20 minutes once, it was that popular.

Not all are a fail, but what did you pay for that if you dont mind me asking. More than $10?

Edit looked up their prices, they're not too bad.

They sell so much volume it’s affordable. Cheaper than most Mexican Taquerias I’ve been to.

I just looked it up. I edited my post. Go to el gordo off san pablo ave. Its inexpensive and delicious. Especially the carnitas burrito. Ive never had mexican food in san fran. Im usually eating asian when im there. San diego has such bomb mexi food for cheap I have a hard time paying $10 for a burrito. Only food truck I consistently go to down here is a mariscos truck. The fish tacos and shrimp ceviche are the best in town and you can get a taco and ceviche for under $10 and have a hard time finishing your food.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had was always at a taco truck outside a Pick-n-Pull. I’d say 75% of the people there are Hispanic, so overpriced mediocre Mexican food wouldn’t fly with them.

I tried ordering in Spanish once with whatever my three years of High School Spanish could muster, and I accidentally ordered “two Carne Asada and two Steak tacos”

I don’t mind him, he’s a pretty good meme at this point.

Not as much of a meme as Gordon Ramsay.

The reason there are so many food trucks here is because a food truck is cheaper to operate than a brick-n-mortar restaurant.

Greensboro has a huge food truck festival 2x a year. 100 trucks atleast. I generally avoid them, as I like having a place to sit while I eat.

A lot of the food trucks here have gone full millennial and trendy so you pay over $10 for a grilled cheese or $12 for loaded tater tots. Only 1/4 of them are actually worth eating from.

Oh yeah the prices are absurd. I dont generally like the trendy millennial foods but all the places like that I do go to, are brick and mortar.
