    What hasn't been modified?
Anyone know a good shop or repair guy in bolder that can replace a rear axle and bearing? Possibly diagnose a bent axle tube?

Toyota is replacing my leaf springs next week. Should be good to go then until I redo the headlights.

Hot damn...that dude is lucky to be alive. Looked like about a 20-30 foot fall into the pool of water. Nothing broken, still conscious and able to climb out. No thank you. I'll stick with trails in my truck.

You mean the transmission itself? We were just discussing this a bit ago, somewhere around here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/colorado-b-s-thread.131441/page-8446#post-21463811 The bit of Googling I did said that 175-195 is the 'normal' temp for 'any' auto, and varying each 15-25 degrees halves the fluid life or something. Having never run a Scan Gauge or anything I have no idea what my actual numbers have ever been.

Aspen mountain to Richmond Hill. Taylor pass. Montezuma basin. Report back on how far you can get on Pearl.

that road may be washed out and “closed indefinitely” if it’s the one I am thinking of... :(

uh, this is more like a 100’ fall. It’s fucking epic. I drove this trail down last September and wouldn’t do it again. I have a very steady foot and it was not fun in my small and narrow 1st gen. Nothing that 31’s and a stock truck can’t handle with a good driver, but I could hike down faster than a safe drive.
