Yea, I’ll be watching the show for a while. I want to know if they really fixed the shift points, made cruise control usable, how it tows now, how people like the lights, seat comfort after five hours, etc. It’ll be at least six months before I’ll even consider a 2020.

This is what people have been demanding. CP/AA, LED lights, power seats, etc. Yeah I wish it didn't add quite so much to the cost, but can't expect it all for free. Hopefully if you are willing to wait a bit for after the initial rush, you can negotiate down to a more reasonable cost.

    I didn’t expect it free.

But I would like to pick and choose which I options I buy. For instance, if you want leather, you are forced to have a moonroof and jbl.

It would be nice if the options weren’t in just two packages.

LED headlamps are only a $500 option... I wonder how good and how much it would be to retrofit. At that price I can't imagine the harness is any different than standard or that hard to modify.

On the plus side, these rising prices are only going to keep the value on the 2016-2018 trucks that much higher.

I want to know the same thing. IMO the new LED headlights are the only useful upgrade. That's not worth the taking a hit on a trade-in and the higher base price. But I'd spend the money to upgrade my headlights.

Someone in the other 2020 thread said they asked the dealer about that and were told it is not just an easy plug-and-play swap. You're better off just getting aftermarket LED bulbs and putting them in your existing headlights. Probably a ton cheaper too.

I'm sure someone on here will figure it out and make a thread about it.

Don't hold your breath. We'll see an electric option before a diesel option.

The cheapest Off-road on the configurator forces the $5,500 premium package on you which doesn't even include MTM and costs $43.6k after destination costs with no other option added. With MTM (part of advanced tech package) you're looking at $44.5k. A loaded limited with everything meanwhile costs $42.9k with destination and is actually cheaper.

Was waiting on a 2020 OR and it looks like i'll be waiting awhile. Good thing i'm in no rush to buy.

The price of the exact same truck and equipment I have now: Double Cab TRD OR automatic with premium and technology packages, has gone up $1,300.

If I want to get a manual transmission, I cannot get leather seats in Super White...

I saw a bunch of jumbo-jumbo involving a dynamic navigation system, blah, blah, but didn’t see power seats anywhere.

Hard pass for me on the 2020. I was wanting so badly to snag one,but the prices of those packages are absolutely ridiculous. Should be able to get a 19 for a good price, and can get most of the upgrades a 20 offers. Just sucks that you have to pay so damn much to get into one..but I understand the platform.

That and my Cav Blue is discontinued for 2020..so a 19 it is!

Now these things are becoming overpriced. I could of just got a double cab Titan midnight edition for just over 40k. Way more of a truck for less

You can get an MT with Premium in Super White, just probably not currently available in your area.

Power seats standard on all trims except base SR.

The price gap between 2wd and 4wd also increased.

Unfortunately, in today's day and age, its just more more cost effective to bundle packages - that's all it boils down to

Aftermarket kits have never been as good as the OEM ones I’ve seen in person. I can almost guarantee someone will do conversion adapters like are available for the Tundra so if these are available for even $1k all in, I’m game for the upgrade if they really have good throw.
