Anyone get center caps that are smooth finished, not really feeling these textured caps.

Or, have you found any other caps that fit?

I second this, someone needs to see if the TRD caps fit.

Update: Just took my first long drive (2 hrs) with my new wheel and tire set up. I averaged 15.7 miles per gallon for the whole ride versus 21-22 mpg with the stock set up. I did not expect to take such a big hit on the mpg from just moving up to 265/75r16. I am thinking maybe its maybe the weight?? A drop in fuel economy is obviously expected when moving up tire sizes and installing heavier wheels but it seems like other people are not experiencing the same drop in MPG as I am. Can anyone chyme in and share their experience?

Similar experience with heavier and wider tires.

what tire are you running? look at the weight for the different sizes. going from 70 to 75 ratio can be 10 or more pounds of difference.

It’s probably cause the tires are e rated, I’m guessing...

Well...not a Taco owner, actually a 2006 Montero owner but I've been browsing this thread and been debating between F5s or these. Decision was easy since I just got a smoking deal on 5 of these in black. 16x8. Super excited and thanks for all your pics, really helped me decide. Going to wrap them in 265/75/16...not trying deicde between GY Ultra Terrain or Falken AT3W. The balancing issues scares me with the Falkens because the Montero is already super sensitive to balancing since its a super stiff unibody.

They don't make the XLT in 265/75/16. I could run 285s once my lift goes on in a few weeks but honestly with the Montero, it gets too sluggish without re-gearing.

I have these on order for my incoming Fox kit. I also ordered the 16x8 701s, does anyone know if the Icon UCA will rub if it's a 16 inch rim? I just keep seeing 17s. I'm running 255/85r16 KM3s if it matters.

Help me decide...matte black on the way. Chrome or black lug nuts? Kind of like the visual break-up of the chrome.
