I have a picture of me standing by his plane the year before. Sweet P51. Dude was ancient, had a heart attack or something while up there. When I went, you basically sat 50 feet from the runway, which the planes flew over as the final stretch. I'll have to scrounge around for the flash drives with all the pics on it and post some here.

Finally switched to Redline. So much smoother, although you can really feel my shitty clutch now. Might be about time for a replacement. 170k on one clutch though, I'll take it.

Literally how my experience went as well. My shifter bushings are shot.

The thing I watched said he was pulling in excess of 17 G's before the plane crashed which rendered him unconscious well before he hit the ground, at his age I wouldn't be surprised if that gave him a heart attack

I know how the thing works. Seeing a specific application alternator welder for our generation of truck is what's weird.

Trail welder isn't too uncommon. Although most folks I know wouldn't bother with another engine driven deal like that. Two car batteries is easier

Okay, well it's something I've never heard of or ever seen before. It's weird. It's quirky.

I remember a long time ago 4WOR had these guys and another company featured for trail welders and the Tacoma was featured, there is another company that makes these for these trucks too. I just keep a tube of 6013 rods and have two pairs of jumper cables, coat hanger works in a tight situation. You can actually make the ALT into a welder yourself, plenty of tutorials, it's not a tough project.

Like those refrigerant bottles you buy at the auto store? Ive thought about it but have heard you can fuck it up more that way, I guess it can't hurt to try since it probably needs work done to it anyway lol.
