    I've been in contact with Brian crower regarding these kits. Just waiting to hear what they say about the compression ratio they recommend for my build. After that and when my spare engine shows up, I'll be pulling the trigger. Been eyeing this for a while as @Torspd knows.

    Depends on who has the better group buy price. ;)

    If you aren't going turbo or other form of F/I that can up the boost, no less than 9.5:1 is my opinion. Nine absolute minimum.

    As a point, I am using 9:1, and nearing 20psi.

    I had mentioned to BC my goal was 15psi and I currently hit 12psi. Curious to see if they say 9.5:1 or 9:1.

    9.5 or 9.1 is more than safe if you guys want to keep the supercharger or are going to turbo it for sure.

    So I ended up snagging one of these last night. Practically brand new. Going to work on getting it mocked up this weekend. Is it just the photo or is your slightly rotated from vertical? Doesn't look like the weep hole is at the very bottom?

    I was just curious if it ended up that way cause he tried to use the hangers that came on the muffler or if he had to twist the muffler a bit to get it to fit nice and snug in the space available.

    My rb26 nitto kit uses 9:1 compression, stock compression was 8:5, to give y'all an idea.

    Hard to say. No one has add a stroker kit, with stock compression, while leaving everything the same. Other changes are always made. Only thing you can truly go off of is the larger liter size. Even that doesn't always end up being a proportional gain.

    There is one set of dyno's that could be used for before and after percentage gains.

    URD's blower Dyno, before stroker kit, and then after. Since his engine's cams and valves stayed the same.

    Those dyno's may be in my F/I Dyno thread.

    Lighter, stronger components plus knife edged crank would be that it would gain rpm faster and longer stroke would net more torque however I feel that output would be corrected, restrained, by stock tuning as it has curtain targets it likes to meet.

    Rotate it as needed. mines on like a 10 degree rotation. I also cut off the hangers and welded on 1/2" rod that I formed with hammer and vise.

    Started tearing it down. Don’t see anything wrong except for one the the exhaust buckets on cylinder 4 doesn’t spin freely like the rest? And that’s the cylinder with no compression. E20B928D-D8FA-4725-B3FE-5AA8CA95FE25.jpg
