Swapped out my standard 5100s for B110s. Thought I'd post a pic of the difference for anyone who is curious.

How much lift would you have to have to run those B110s? I imagine at least a few inches, so you don't bottom out that long shock...

I think they say 4"+ but a lot of guys on here run them with less and do just fine. I have just a hair above 3" in the rear.

Lift is not as important as bump stop height with these shocks. Will bottom them out with stock bump stocks regardless of how much lift you have (unless it’s a big lift block).

I'm still learning about this setup but I have Wheelers U-bolt Flip Kit and Superbumps under the recommendation of another member on here. Also still need to put on my extended brake lines but need a helper to bleed the brakes.

Just make sure the shock doesn’t fully compress before the bump stop does and you will be fine. Might need a spacer under the bump stop.

So basically you'd have to get taller bump stops then? I'd imagine you'd have to have a little lift too, to accommodate for the longer length eye to eye. What about heavy dakars and some timbren bumps/u-bolt flip kit? Would that be sufficient to safely ride/offroad the B110s?

Taller bump stops are a must, but size will depend on leaf pack thickness. Superbumps are pretty squishy and I’m not sure exactly how much they compress before they bottom out. The Dakar leaf pack is pretty thick and the timbren bump stops are a bit more firm, so I woud be surprised if the shock bottoms out first with that setup.

So, I've got 3". How mich would you suggest I space the bumpstop? The GeneralSpringKC 90-297HD leafs are pretty stout IMO.

There is really no way to answer that without measuring.

Measure eye to eye at full compression and make sure it’s about 1/2” longer than the collapsed length of the shock.

It is not directly applicable to you since my bump stops are for a GM half ton, but I have 1/2” of spacers on my bump stops

Wheelers actually makes a spacer for the super bumps if you end up needing it

Good info! I planned to compress it all the way and then measure, like you said. Thought maybe you had another idea. Thank you sir!

For anyone running HD dakars and stock bumps, uptravel needs to be limited by like 1/3”. I bolted a hockey puck (1” thick) where the bump stop hits the frame. Worked like a charm while I had that set up and had a window of safety if the stock bump manages to compress.

I don’t, sorry. But just look at your frame where the bump stop hits. That’s where I put a hockey puck.

With your super bumps, you should be just fine with no spacers. They’re a bit taller than stock just from that pedestal alone. Stock bumps are maybe only 2”-2.5” tall.

But to be clear though bamataco is absolutely right. Every set up is a little different and the only sure fire way to know is break out the measuring tape.

I'll have to get a picture of it when it's on its wheels. Seems to ride fine.

Your leaf pack is a bit thinner than the HD Dakars mentioned by @EatSleepTacos. You will likely need to add some sort of spacer in there. Is that a small lift block under the leaf pack? That’ll give you a bit more safety at compression.
