I've only heard of minor changes...grill being one, same color offerings both exterior/interior...

Dealer near me has several 2011's already...

I was surprised to see that they are again offering the 2.7L I-4 with the automatic tranny in 4WD standard and access cabs...this dealer also had a Pre-Runner Double Cab with the 2.7L I-4 and the auto tranny...they will not be offer the DC 4WD with the I-4...my guess is they are trying to again attract those who want a Tacoma coupled with a little better mileage than the 4L 6, I might have to drive that Pre-Run DC to see if it will get out of its own way...:D

it has nothing to do with the gas mileage, differences were minimal for example in single cab 4X4 auto and access cab 4.0 4X4 it's 1-2mpg difference.
it's all about what people wanted, all the articles i've read said majority of toyota surveys showed people wanted single cab in auto not manual, since single cab sales were horrible and accounted for less than 5% of total, they listened to what most people wanted and offered it in auto only this year, hoping the sales of single cabs will be up big time.

They definitely reduced the number of configurations available for the standard cab in 2011 - no SR5, AC now standard, etc...

Pretty much the only options are:

    5sp vs. Auto

With or without sliding glass rear window

    Color

But availability varies from area to area.

My new 2011 standard cab has 4cyl 5sp.

I'm talking about difference in mileage between I-4 and V-6 with regards to the Pre-Runner DC...if someone wants to save 2-3K and get better mileage then they will sell the I-4 DC to that buyer...I would never buy a 2wd in the market I live in, but someone will...

Single horizontal bar with a honeycomb mesh behind it. As opposed to the double horizontal bars and a pseudo egg-crate design behind.
