    Yeah.
Sorry for assuming daddy's money, good for you! Besides, I'm probably older than your dad so adoption would be weird.

And good that you are here learning. Keep at it, or resolve to always earn enough to pay someone else to work on your stuff. Warranty stuff excluded, that is.

I’m going to go with the fan clutch released allowing it to spin with the RPM of the engine. These clutch fans really draw down on the engine especially if it’s lifted. Mine released today taking off from a stop light and it sucked nearly all the power out of my takeoff. It’s also possible with the fan clutch spinning that fast that the engine began to get hotter than normal. Extra heat will also drag the engine down. It doesn’t take much to affect it

Why would the engine get hot if the fan is pulling as much heat as it can from the radiator?

When a viscous fan clutch 'releases', like all the fluid runs out, the fan component hardly turns at all.

I've never seen a viscous fan clutch 'lockup' and turn like an old fashioned fixed fan all the time. But even if it did, it would just be noisy, not really affecting function. In fact, in days of yore, it was fairly common to replace failed viscous clutched fans with fixed fans, as they were cheaper than the new viscous clutch.

I actually got a call from my service guy at the dealership this morning at around 9am.

He said that his technicians stayed later last night and got the fan it, and when he drove it this morning the truck was working perfectly fine.

I am going to drive down and pick it up today with a friend, so we will see if it does actually run perfect.

Just picked the truck up from Toyota. She runs perfect as can be.

My service guy said the fan coupling seized, and he doesn’t think it was from offroading or mud.

    All happy as of now
