I just had my alignment done after installing a 3 inch OME lift, LR UCAs and 33s. I requested 0 camber, 0 toe and 2.4 caster, based on what I've seen on this site. When I picked up the truck, the service manager told me that they got to 0 toe and 2.4 caster, but couldn't get any closer to 0 camber than .9. I know that .9 is within spec, but I would assume that with the LR UCAs, they shouldn't have any problem getting to 0 camber???

Driving down the road, the truck pulls rather heavily to the right and I've got a very "twitchy" steering wheel. I know that with my 285 Duratracs, I was going to get a little more feedback through the steering wheel, but it seems to be bouncing back and forth with every small imperfection in the asphalt.

When I got the truck home, I noticed that the shop never even touched the adjustments on the LR UCAs. I mean, the dust on the ball joint nut was unscathed. They're both still at the 0 setting and all the way out.

The truck goes back to the dealership for a second look at the alignment tomorrow morning. My questions are: Should they be able to get to 0 toe, 0 camber and 2.4 caster without issues since I have the LR UCAs? Is my "twitchy" steering wheel normal, or should the alignment alleviate this? Does anyone have a pic of where their alignment shop set their LR UCAs?

Same thing with me. But No real pull or anything. I dont think they adjusted the camber with the UCAs. I will take it back and try again.

i am going to do that one day in a few weeks.....^^^^^^^^
i just got the new 285/75/16 and im not sure i even want to keep them
with all the rubbing issues and possible body mount chop it is not worth it...
i might downsize... i didnt do my home work on this one but the tires were a good price...when i take her out 4x4ing and see what happens with the big tires ill make my decision.
then i will call you and set up a alingment with you...
    thanks again......
if you were closer i would have been there from the get go.....
    thanks for all your help.....

I have the same set up and my shop (big o tires) were able to align just fine with out even using the LR uca.

    Caster Left 2.71

    Camber Left 0.18
    Camber Right -0.09

    Toe Left 0.01
    Toe Right 0.01
    Total Toe 0.02

Maybe not exactly perfect but pretty damn close.

These UCAs have slot for adjusting camber & the oem adjustments so there is no excuse to get camber right........or caster or toe for that matter. My last alignment was 0.0 & 0.1 on camber, 0.05 & 0.06 on toe, 2.7 & 2.8 on caster........it drives perfect. I have 5100s at 2.5, 1.5 AAL & 18x9s with 32x11 Duratracs. That was NTB, 140.00 for 3 yr transferable alignment.

Sounds like you need a new shop. I didn't have any trouble with mine.
