Please try enabling some guages you have not used yet. I have not looked at the different OBDII protocols but maybe certain pins & used for certain readouts of the different guages. I know many people are watching & would like to know your outcome.

I don't believe I unplugged and plugged the unit back in properly. When I plugged it in tonight, it may have fixed it. Again, my 2004 is working properly, without the abs light flashing. Let me know if anyone has any issues with theirs, and I can try to offer some support to you. Good thing is, it would be an easy resale if you wanted to get rid of it. For me, right now, it's working.

Btw, got about 30 miles total plugged in working. At a killer 16.6 mpg average. I'll have to try the other gauges tomorrow.

Nothing, it's the same piece that comes with it. They're just offering the option for a replacement or extra. That's good that they're offering this so you can install a mount in a second vehicle or don't have to worry if you accidently broke the bracket.

Sucks when you can't buy replacement parts for something. Just wish the cable was not fixed to allow easy replacement but I guess this was one of the ways to keep the cost down.

You can but you wouldn't be a part of the group buy. ;)

Ends 9/8 & I would assume midnight for UG's time zone.

Still a great price without the group buy price, definitely worth it in my opinion & I have no doubt in my mind that the price WILL go up.

I cut the end of the bracket that came with the www.ultra-gauge.com.
I originally left about an 1 1/2" of the shaft on there. I took a drill with a small bit and made a hole in the center of the center cutout cover. Worked upto a 3/8" bit. After that I used a dremmel with this type of bit
    [IMG]
Patiently made the hole big enough to slide the shaft in all the way. (That what she said). I mounted it back in the dash but I felt it stuck out too much. I decided to recess the square end of the bracket into the cover. With the shaft still in the cover and the square end of the bracket butted up against the front of the cover, I marked around the edge of the square end. Slipped out the bracket end and used the dremmel, a razor and a small flat rasp/file to make it look like this
    [IMG]
Remember I had left about an 1 1/2" of the shaft when I first cut it? I now cut it shorter. So it doesn't stick out the back of the cover.
Since I don't have power mirrors, I knocked out the cover where the swith would go. Flipped it over and drilled the corner out. Small bit first, then a larger one. Finished it to look like this with the dremmel.
Put it all back together. Done.

I liked the vent mount but felt like it was too visible for undesirables. This sits a little lower. Also like the fact that I'm only drilling/cutting into covers or caps that can be replaced for a few dollars. And, lastly I can pop it all out easily if I need to. Hope this helps. Just be patient and slow when cuttin/shaving down the cover. It's soft so don't use a heavy hand. Thanks for the props too.

it was $52 for reaching 125 orders i believe. I think this might be one of the most successful groupbuys thus far on TW as far as qty.

Got mine hooked up and running. Rebate process complete. I did have an issue during the original scanning. Unit kept scanning for 5 minutes. I even started the truck and it still scanned. I finally disconnected and reconnected the plug and everything worked great!!!
