Man you've got one of the cleanest looking builds on this forum I swear

I gave up on that last nut and washer, although I think I remember seeing that it might be accessible from inside the door with it open a certain amount. I couldn't get my arm up in through the fender far enough

Thanks dude, it’s come along way since the Mojave trip we did lol. I really do appreciate the compliment. Ok I’ll see if I can snake it or maybe just take some fender bolts off

For what it's worth I've had mine on for about a year now without that bolt on and it's held up fine, no play/movement in it at all. But I can understand not feeling 100% about it until it's on there lol

I’m not overly worried about it but I’m gonna give it the ol college try. If I get the upper bracket tight and the lower two are tight I’ll be fine. Have you noticed any difference in the way the truck sounds, mileage, throttle, etc...?

Definitely helped my intake air temps stay about 10 degrees cooler on average, which is really good especially since I'm supercharged and that really heat soaks the engine. So overall it does help performance a bit, not really anything noticeable but the engine appreciates it.

Sound wise not really, unless you turn the snorkel head to face the cab with the window down. But you're not really supposed to do that anyway lol.

Bitchen, I’m really hoping to reduce dust in the airbox and cooler intake temps so I’m happy to hear it.

Less dust but you do catch more leaves, flies, bees, butterflies, grasshoppers...just have to pull it out and shake it off once in awhile.

Clean looking grill. I wouldn’t worry too much about the last nut. Been to the dunes and mountains and still on there tight.

    Truck looks good!

Only need to unbolt the bottom bolt that secures the fender to the frame. You will be able to give yourself a couple of additional inches - the fender will be a little pliable and can be slightly pulled toward you away from the truck... Carefully of course, dont want to bend it

don't do that, don't be one of those guys

I drove through some farmland not that long ago and there was what seemed like a plague of locusts that we drove through, I was pulling them out of my air box and air filter for awhile

Oh you mean just on the trail, yeah that's fine...I've done that too if it's really wet/muddy, otherwise sheets of water and mud go right into the snorkel head. I thought you meant turning it around full time

Won't pull air like its supposed to over ~40mph if it isn't facing forward

I’ll probably turn it around in the winter IF it’s snowing too, even on the highway, fill my air box/snorkel with ice in sub zero temps doesn’t sound like a good time.

yeah I think ARB even says the only time you really want to turn it around is in heavy snowfall, since snow build up on the face of the snorkel will cause problems
