UPDATE:

Well to get back on topic, here are some pics of the harness. I had the SR5 model OEM F/M Connectors delivered so I was able to mock up the FIRST SR5 Plug-N-Play Power Folding Mirror Harness that I will be sending off to @elaudtr to test out for me and make sure everything matches up prior to the full release! If all works out, we are 100% good to go with EVERYTHING and I think all minor issues that were brought up during the testing phase have been addressed!!!

I thought it would be nice to show how you connect the Power Folding Motor Wires (Black & Green) from the Extension Harness, as well as the Power Window PNP Harness (Black) and the Power Window Master Switch PNP Harness Wires (White) into the OEM O1 Connector.

 

Thank ya, Thank ya, Very much. Update: after changing some parts from the Highlander mirror, swapping out the hinge for one from a Tacoma. Everything went well. When I tried to snap on the back cover, it would not fit tight. Not sure if it’s the motor or ? Maybe I’ll figure it out

 

Are you using the cover from the Tacoma or the Highlanders?

 

The cover from the Highlander, the shape is different cause the turn signals are shorter and mounted different than the Tacoma

 

FYI in this photo you can see the outline of the trim piece with the puddle lights it ends at the half circle on the left side. Held in with clips on one side and screws, it’s part of the turn signals assembly. There is another piece that snaps in the bottom of the hinge. It’s shorter. Sorry I don’t have a picture of the inside.

 

Check the notches. If I remember correctly, the covers have different notches slightly

Regarding to the SR5 PLug and Play hardness looks great. When will they be available ? Or you going to send out only connectors that are different ?

Would 2 puddle lights per side connected via a Y-Split to the one harness in the A-Pillar draw too much current?
Seriously contemplating 4 puddle lights.

 

@MESO Just to add to this if it would work could the lights be angled in opposite directions? I figure it would light up more area.

 

UPDATE:

Well I put 50 DIY KITS together this Weekend! I should be receiving the PNP Harnesses on Wednesday! @elaudtr should be installing the SR5 PNP Harness soon to give some feedback and pictures prior to release for that. I have sent @DSIM some Mirrors and he is hooking me up with a YouTube Install Video which I think will be amazing for everyone. There are so many great things coming up!!

List to order is in the first page. I have plenty. I upped the quantity so there is plenty. Order away. No batches for me. DIY packages should ship quickly. It’s the other packages that will take a little time because of ordering and then waiting on others to install and ship back their OEMs.

 

UPDATE:

Just received a tracking update that shipping may have gotten returned to sender so will be checking on this with my vendor today and tomorrow to see if this is a glitch in the postal system or what is going on.

 

NEW UPDATE:

Shipment for the PNP Harness was delayed due to the postal service wanting to search the shipment thinking that there were batteries inside. However, it has now been shipped again after being thoroughly searched.

These have been shipped as well and I should have these either tomorrow or the next.



SR5 Connector Test has been completed and it has been confirmed that it is a go!!!

How are these being shipped US Postal Service or UPS/FEDEX? I'm sure this is in the thread somewhere but it is getting to be a very long thread to sort through. Thanks.

 

I am pretty sure they will be shipped via USPS. Everything i have ordered from KTJO has come via USPS Priority Mail.

 

So...about those DIY kits. Any word on they’ll ship?
