Check out the new Delta electric generator. This thing is going to be sweet. I just bought the 1300watt. Talk about being able to go off grid. Even using this and adding solar to it. Here is the link if anyone is interested.

Got everything lined up at a really good body shop. Only issue is I can't drop my truck off until 9/23.

Not sure if this is worth a diminished value claim? Any insight would be great

If the police were involved, no matter what it will go on Car Fax from our previous experience. Maybe check it out first and spend money out of pocket? I know it sucks either way. Sorry for your bad situation. My daughter's car was hit at college with rear bumper damage. She called campus police and they filled out a report. Took it to the body shop where they have a full time adjuster. He said making the claim and payout is hardly worth it since the damage was minimal. We checked Car Fax and it already showed up. Not sure how it works everywhere else. Seems like my area is the SUE capital of the nation. Hence why everyone's auto insurance is so high here. Good Luck.

Sorry about that. Hadn't cleaned the inside of my truck in a couple weeks. Daily driver and does more work around the place than my Mahindra. The photo was a spur of the moment thing to try and help out a fellow member. It needs a good cleaning. :anonymous:

There was a debate about this before so I'm not going to:deadhorse:.
Personally if you can comfortably afford it.........
    My 2 cents.
No fault insurance. Devious SOB's, those insurance companies.

Hey guys, does anyone know what the latest ECM/PCM update is on a 3rd Gen 16' Taco TRD ? Thanks!
Also, I am taking it in to the dealership today about issues with it shifting/hesitation and it feeling like it is surging. Any helpful tips that you have experienced with dealers and anything I should ask for them to double-check??

    Thanks!

Word of advice, start savin' NOW!
Once I retire my mods will cease and it'll be wash and wax only!
It comes at you fast. One day you're 26 and invincible and before you know it you're wondering what the hell happened. It's almost like you got caught in a time warp.
Don't let that invincible feeling fool you!

    You're welcome.
Wish I had planned better! If I had I'd have had the world by its nads and I wouldn't have all these toys that I'll end up getting pennies on the dollar for.
It was a good ride but if I had my druthers in retrospect I'd have done things much differently.
You only get one shot at it, you can't go back!
You know you're old when you start talking like this.

Have fun but look to the future!

Luckily my youngest son has heeded my advice. He has a good paying job with a good pension (started at 19) and is putting 10% into a 457 plan on top of that. He will not have to worry about money in retirement if he keeps that up. I had to raid my retirement for an emergency in my 30's and did not start rebuilding it until early 40's.

Smart thinking...really...I was lucky in that my Dad was very persistent I finish school and save for the future. The economy has not been robust in much of my working years (still in them!) so he also instilled budget, budget budget. For a while I lived in meh places, drove even mehier vehicles and did meh vacations. My wife and I built our own house (as in with hammer and saw, not "watch a builder") and frankly this budgeting is reason I'm on TW today in that my last truck was a Tundra, but I didn't "need" a Tundra any more so I started my build on a Taco. My strategy is failing somewhat due to TW however, as for example when I saw your BADASS UpTopOverland rack I had to divert budget towards it! You would be amazed how easy it is to avoid wasting cash when you actually use cash.

As far as a job change...if you can work remotely you save a lot...skips the lunch out and coffee's gas, wear/tear, clothes and such.
