Anyone out there hop on the pre-orders for the new iPhone 11s? I placed my order @7:58am EST for a 11 Pro Max 512GB Midnight Green, I'm looking forward to testing out the new camera setup. I'm currently on a XS Max 512GB Gold, hands down the best phone I've ever had, thing is a beast! Can't beat those in-house chips Apple puts out, very impressive. Hope they improved on the Face ID on this go round, I am annoyed the XS Max never worked for landscape mode and didn't work a lot of times from different angles. Supposedly this new phone is supposed to be better w/ Face ID, although I think it should be done through software and the XS should support it, however I doubt they will do that for the XS.

They’re all overpriced, but the A12 is still one of the best chipsets in a phone and the A13 will put more distance between the next competitor. With Apple and Qualcomm hugging again, the modem issues are gone as well.

Be interesting to see if there is anything not yet leaked about the next Pixel when it’s officially announced.

Overpriced maybe, outdated I don’t think so. Their A12 and 13 chips are no joke, no one else holds a candle to them.

Some aspects yeah, others no. Like I said the A13 chip is leading the industry, their in house chips smoke the competition. And if your saying your galaxy is better Apple smokes it with its “outdated” hardware by using their top notch iOS. Their last device had the best smart phone OLED screen on the market as well as their cpu/gpu.

Blah blah blah blah apple vs Android trash is worse than debating gun rights vs libtards. People be divided and they ain’t gonna sway.

Any advantages in ordering thru your carrier vs from apple.com? It’s been a while since I’ve upgraded. Think it’s time.

The last few years I’ve just ordered through Verizon, I alway have gotten them on release day. I think with Apple you can bake in the apple care to your payment plan if you want or you can pay it all up front. Id probably just stick with your carrier. Really no benefit I can think from one over the other.

I’m really digging the new camera set up on the 11 pros but I just got a new 256gig X through insurance so it should last me at least until next year.

Everyone keeps saying how overpriced these things are. For me I can say that my smart phone is a yuge part of my life and that is a small price to pay for something I rely on every single day.

I feel the exact same way, for the amount of usage these phones get and how much they can do I don't mind the price. I can not wait to test out the new camera setup! Yeah I almost splurged for the apple watch 5 too, but it's not enough change to warrant the upgrade. I currently have the apple watch 4, however I do like the always on mode but I am not upgrading just for that.

The most expensive iPhone 11 Pro is $1,449 plus tax. So you are looking around $1,500 and change. The iPhone 8 is still an excellent phone by the way, I had the 8 plus at one point and loved it. My wife got an 8 plus for free from verizon last year, she loves it too.

Wife and I have the 8 Plus and finally paid off the phones last month. Might do a battery replacement for like $40 in the near future, but everything about this phone is solid and fast. No reason to upgrade.

That iPhone 8 plus has been a beast, I used my wife's the other day and couldn't believe it was still damn near as fast as my XS Max.
