Not a fan of fiat, but at least they’re owning it. Numerous people on here have had low oil transmissions or dry as a desert u joints.

Sounds like a process issue and not a design issue. It happens. :violent:

lol most auto manufacturers will have recalls like this. If you think Toyota doesn't then you just haven't been paying attention.

Is this going to be a Jeep vs Toyota quality thing? Is that even going there? Lol.

I must be in the twilight zone again. Jeeps and jettas are for freshman blondes.

Least Jeep fixes the issues quickly. I have had far better service with Jeep than Toyota. Corporate, dealers, pretty much across the board Toyota is terrible to deal with. I cringe everytime I have to go to toyo for something. Hacks

I also can’t believe anyone would ever compare Toyota quality vs Jeep that’s like apples to oranges. Or apples to a pile of dog shit!

I like Jeeps, to bad they suck in reliability, absolutely can’t beat their off road capabilities.

I know a coworker that bought a Jeep Rudicon Hard Rock. Liked it for the lift and tires it had on it. After he bought it at 3000 rpm it shuttered and derated. Went into the dealer. Apparently they have common issue with oil gallery plugs that come loose after the pressure sensor, this then starves the cam shafts of oil and wipes them out. New heads and cams go in. Takes a month to repair. He gets it back and 1 week later 3000 rpm it shutters and derated. I told him I am glad I bought my Tacoma.

Go online and check. Chrysler (jeep) has more known unresolved issues than any other car manufacturer in the world

    THIS.

Off road utility gods, bless me. Bless my heavy metal. Bless my bacon, my girlfriends bikini, and her best friends bikini. Grace me with the ability to harbor pure contempt for the acoustic guitar having, vanilla, pg rated corny fucking bullshit of all turn-key wannabe off roaders who purchase jeeps, then continue to bolt-on and bolt on and bolt on until they have reached levels of stupidity never before seen, with their nuclear family strapped in, and bopping around some bullshit Jeep trail at 2 miles an hour...allow me to grant no mercy with loud DIO at campsites while the Jeep people eat marshmallows and laugh at dad jokes.

Heathens. Smell the wrath of my super soaker filled with pee...

i don't think jeep manufactures it's own joints, btw yours are going to be dry as well if you haven't greased them yourself.

Yes, Jeeps have always been, for the most part, unreliable. But you have to find the positive in that. When your Jeep breaks, it gives you something to do, as opposed to patiently waiting in the WalMart parking lot for some unsuspecting asshat to open his door right into the side of your truck just so you can get out and say "Gotcha Bitch!"... You know that old saying; Idle hands...

    1st year production. Shit happens.

Glad to see FCA jumped on it and taking care of the issue.

Just got a service notice to have my steering stabalizer upgraded for free thru FCA for my JLU.
Another great step to see Jeep taking care of their customers instead of denying claims from customers, making them search out other dealerships for trans issues, rear end leaks, wind noise, hood separation, paint fading and other issues.
