Good God, I don't need anymore reasons to spend money. But I do need shocks.

Not cheap by any means but Bilstein has been around forever and know what they are doing.

Shop around got mine for 3200 or 1600 each for the front and rear. You can’t just google search and go by the first price you see....

I absolutely love my setup! Ended up buying two full sets (one for me and one for a buddy). I have always prefered Bilsteins over the other "colors".

How is the finish holding up on these for people?

What's the part# for the heavier springs? Think I'd need them with +160Lbs weight added to the front?

I have a warn semi-hidden winch mount bumper approx 80Lbs
Will be adding a winch so lets say + 80 Lbs

The consensus from reading this thread was yes on heavier springs. I'm about to put my sso bumper with the stage 2 wings, winch and already have a dual battery set up so I went for it.

I believe the part number is posted in this thread but I can snap a photo of part# tomorrow since I let the wife drive it to work today

Bilstein spends more money on R&D each year than King and ADS do in total sales..

Still doesn't change anything. Ford leads the way in R&D on the EcoBoost shit too.

Apples and oranges, Bilstein is one of the biggest names in the shock absorber world. They've won piles of trophies, Baja, Dakar, Nascar, etc.

I stand corrected. I’m a sucker for a great ride on road and off, these fit the bill.

Well let everyone know what you do with em and if you'd like to see something else done.

Digging the no need for aftermarket bump stops. Looks like its built like a tank.

I believe these are made to not need bumpstops

    Edit: from rogue offroad

    http://www.rogue-offroad.com/product-p/41-269282-41-269299.htm

Compression ( C ): Provides superior bottom out control through a 2-stage, telescoping internal compression stop. This feature eliminates the need for an external hydraulic bump stop

Oh dayum, that's awesome. I was worried if I did archive hangers that I'd need some.
