I have a set of 285/50r20 Toyo Proxes on fuel maverick wheels. Since I’ve gotten the tires I’ve had vibration and steering shake issues. Same wheels as before with nitro grapplers and didn’t have the issues. The tires have been balanced and road force balanced and have no high or low spots and seem to balance perfectly fine. Wheels are hub centric and also have e/t conical sleeved lugs. Also had a front end alignment and no luck. Shake sometimes goes away for up to a couple days but then comes right back. It’s baffling me what is causing this and I can’t seem to figure it out. I dnt have stock tires to test(bought truck with aftermarkets).anyone know what could be causing the shake. Also removed a 2 inch shock lift from the truck to put it back stock. Could that have something to do with it? Anyone experiencing this or possibly know a solution?

Do you notice that the shake happens when you are breaking or not. Because brake rotors can be the cause of shaking. This vibration can also be felt through your brake pedal.

Look at how much weight it took to balance the tires and wheels. If it wasn’t there prior to the new tires seems pretty obvious. If there is more than 2oz any where to balance tires that may be your issue even thought there balanced on the machine. Let’s say they thru 6oz on to balance once on the road that amount can actually create a vibration as it gets to speed on the hwy. I worked at discount tire and goal was always 2oz or less.
