    Got my lock on stand ( Chippewa ) up the tree and set thanks to my son helping me .Around 18 feet . That’s about 4 foot lower than I used to hunt . Also a ladder stand in . One more ladder stand to get in and my blind to set up . That will be 3 ladder stands a lock on and a blind on 120 acres . Still have 2 lock on in the deer cave but it’s too much work to get them in anymore .

    Got 1200 lbs of corn put in the feeders today. A little late but season opener is Nov 2 so we have almost 2 months to start scouting deer.

    Also has been 2 months since we have been to the lease and the power company put a new line in and cut us a new sendero, so hunting should be interesting now haha

    I gave three loc ons and some steps to a buddy from church earlier this year. He has 3 boys and I’m getting to old to hang them anymore. I kept one. We hunt mostly from ground blinds now.

    Back in the tree for round 2 this week. Cooler today, lol. Put corn out Tuesday after hunting and it’s almost all gone.

    This guy had a bad foot. Look how swollen it is. He was walking fine though and ran really pretty as he was leaking fluid. A deer with a camel toe, isn’t that something?
