It comes with 2 packs of juicy fruit to stick the camera on your dash. Use sparingly.

It will definitely be unique. You’ll be able to pick it out in the parking lot easily. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

They got rid of that when TSS came out I think (2018 or 19?). Believe it was because they needed more room for the camera that is mounted up there.

Nope, they stopped that in 2018 once they needed room for TSS

I put up the cash portion of my planned down payment (3k + trade in) on my credit card. I'd rather have done it in 3 weeks on principle as I don't like handing out free money but we bought a house last month and I felt the "spend anything you want" window closing and wanted to get it in on my last credit card cycle.

Gimme dat 2% and I like having Visa in my corner if they pull any shenanigans.

I haven’t been asked to pay a down payment is why I am asking. Was just wondering what dealerships were asking. One did ask me to put $500 down. But the other didn’t.

Are you guys just walking into any dealer and asking to place a deposit? I ask because i contacted toyota of orlando and they had no clue. They told me the 2020 hasnt even come out yet. Once i told them i knew for a fact of 2020 sitting in some lots in california they changed it to, not out in my region ‍♂️ i really want a limited in cement, and i be willing to drive a couple states to get it

You can use a cc to pay but anything over a few grand the dealer might ask you to tack the cc fee to their asking price. They want the 3% for them, not the cc processing company.

For my dealer, I just called up the rep and asked him to put me down on the list. Last time they wanted a $500 deposit, this time they just said you're good we'll let you know.

Damn, there goes my $1,200. They want a $1k deposit here in CO. I guess I will try that on the cc and pay the rest cash when it comes in.... I feel like I just lost $1,200... o_O

$500 for my deposit (and it counts towards your down payment.) I’m sure it would be $0 if I was a repeat customer.

I'd ask, you might be able to put more on your CC. I put $2k down payment on mine before and they didn't care. Max it out and get as much rewards as you can!

Green might be cool, but personally, I think I'd tire of it. White is always a good way to go.

2018 had it, 2019 dropped it. Had nothing to do with the TSS.

More importantly, what CC do you have that gives you back 3% on a $45k purchase?

Any of those deposits are fully refundable should you decide not to go through with the deal. At least that has been the terms I've had in the past buying 5 Toyotas. Put a bit down to show you are legit in wanting to buy. Just a little something to reassure the dealer you're just not playing games.
