Dealer cost is ~$53k. Msrp around 60k depending where I guess. At least that’s what I gathered from shopping around the province.

I know. $62k Canuckistan dollars is still a lot for a Taco.

That's (allegedly) the cost for the privilege to sell it from factory? I would not pay that for even retail.

    Crazy if accurate

They aren't cheap that's for sure.
I'll try to remember from the office to build an at cost price tag if I can tomorrow (Saturday)

@Tinma Sorry to continue the conversation - was your price pre or post tax?

Because here's how the truck breaks down sold at cost:

So the dealer cost vs MSRP on a pro is almost $5,000 plus or minus if the manual vs automatic.

Total cost IF sold at cost, which will never happen as it means no profit made, taxes bring each model to $56,646 vs $60,000

You can also verify such numbers on all vehicles any brand if you google Unhaggle just a heads up to anyone searching for other vehicles. :) (Canada At Least)

Well damn, here's an at cost break down - highlighted is the pre-tax. I personally as an employee should buy from the dealership you bought at as it's a better price than I can get myself lol.

Would love to see that bill of sale.

trade-in value is the discount to reduce the price to cost.

    Insanity out there.

You should look up Exeter Toyota in London ont. I believe the highlighted area on the sheet you posted was price they listed heir pros for. Like I said, that is how I was able to get a great price. Everything you posted here makes me feel really happy with my deal :)

Well not literally - but you get what I'm saying. That price they lost money on a sale, which is beyond me.

Yeah I seen that - they marked up their MSRP $2,000 which is illegal in Ontario. 56,735.00 is the Toyota.ca posted MSRP.
