    I was just going to grab a think piece of metal I can cut, tap and thread out, and get a little bar to attach it into the bedrail. That way it's removable...

    hey taylor, after tuning the cb antenna will it need adjustments if its relocated? i'm looking at a worse case scenario that i may do the hood mount until i can get it mounted in the bed

    Yes. When you tune the antenna its setup for the profile of the vehicle in that location. So if you move it to another area, it will need to be readjusted beacuse of the new location.

    weak. my cb will be here tomorrow and i'll get the antenna tomorrow as well. i'll have to cross fingers that brandon can make something on the fly, if not its going on the hood mount
