I saw the neighbor do it and I was anxious the entire time. I went to tighten it while he put it down with the tool and it was perfectly tight. I was dumbfounded.

Mine doesnt blow hot, it just has a weak charge I think. Not nearly as cold as most cars Ive ridden in, especially old cars with fresh refrigerant. At this point, it may as well wait until next spring to address.

Not really having problems with the girl I'm talking to but at the same time things aren't very clear to me about where/what we are and I'm trying not to overthink that.

She's been giving me mixed messages and I was really forward and things were still muddy. I told her we should just be friends til she is actually excited about dating me instead of just saying she's interested in that but dragging me along til she decides if it's true or not on her part. it's been a bleh week ever since but I feel better because I did what I could

Ill never forget my first day at my job. I looked all over the shop for the wrench to change the discs out. My coworker walks in and shows me the no wrench trick. Never looked back. Just hold the lock button and twist the disc as tight as you can go by hand without a ton of force. Never had an issue. Sometimes a wrench is required on removal though, but usually I can get em off by hand too.

id love to find his actual truck. but i fear it met its demise due to rust. plus the yellow it was is one of my favorite colors on those trucks (and the blue)

Just to clarify, a bad Idle air control valve would cause coolant to get in the throttle body and a surging idle, correct? I took the intake hose off and looked in there, its soaked.

he bought the truck new. drove it for 10 years, restored it. parked it in a storage container and left it there.

Its the only thing that wasnt replaced during the headgasket fix. And the system had a pressure check less than a year ago and passed. I think its the only thing left that could be allowing water in the engine.

well if you see coolant in the throttle then the IAC is the only thing that'd cause that

Yeah figured that’s what he did. Was totally weird. I always use the wrench though, just for my own sanity.

Its great not having to remember where you left the stupid wrench. The only discs I have trouble with getting off are the cutting wheels when they get really small and theres not enough meat to grab on to.
