    Hey all,

So I'm trying to update my audio system because lately its been freezing and rebooting on occasion.

So I searched for Toyota download entune and found this site:

    https://securedp.toyota.com/download-app/downloads

I punch in the info, 2014, Tacoma, w/Navigation, download the update and place it in a blank 2gb USB drive.

I followed the instructions from the website but the radio does not recognize any update. That is when I go to "Software Update" section of settings, the "Update" button is greyed out and not selectable.

My current version is 0101C1 and the downloaded update is 0101D7. This update became available in March of 2017 to solve the very issues I'm having.

Do I need a new flash drive? The one I'm using is a 2.0 USB but it's pretty old, I have formatted it so it's totally blank.

Any ideas why it won't recognize the update file?

Stumbled upon this thread through Google searching. I am having the same problem with my 2014. I have the file, formatted my USB drive to FAT32, put the file on the USB drive, plugged said USB drive into USB port but like you, my software update button is greyed out. Did you ever get this resolved?
