Yeah, I figured that too. We were prepared for the worst but it turned out great.

 

Happens all the time at our house

 

Careful in HI, there are a TON of feral cats. Most are decent but I’m sure some mean ones too though. Of course this is assuming you haven’t lived there before and may already know what to expect!

 

Be sure to start the process at least 6 months early. You can avoid the mandatory quarantine it you have everything set up in advance. It’s a pain in the ass but much better than being separated from your pet and having to pay for her to live in cat jail.

 

Maybe you can bribe them by saying it loves to hunt snakes and is incredibly good at it. The world stops in HI if there’s rumors of a snake.

 

While I was stationed there they found a snake in someone’s household goods using X-ray. They just incinerated the entire crate.

 

Yeah only one scare in my time there but they shut the airport down and volunteers canvased the near by hills.

It’s kinda nuts but I get it. Maybe they should train the wild roosters to hunt snakes.

 

Hooman....I see a deadly alien insect intruder has penetrated our living unit's outer defense perimeter. Fear not. I shall stalk the beast for the next 7 hours.

 

Then proceed to torture for information. Do not worry, I won’t kill it for at least two more hours.

 

And then lose it under the stove.

 

So true.

 

Or the refrigerator and sit and stare at it for a solid 45 minutes without blinking

So...we found a tooth in our cats’ bowl today. Looks like it’s from the 4-year-old male. Never dealt with dental issues with a cat before. Other than ‘expensive,’ what should I know about it? He eats only dry food (Blue Buffalo) and whatever he can Hoover off the ground before we stop him.

Yikes. Ive never had an older cat have issues. did it look rotted out? Might have to have the dry food soaked in water and only feed 2 times a day...maybe check with the vet?

Better safe then sorry, pets can’t say when they are in pain. Sometimes they don’t even act grumpy or lethargic, just can’t always tell.

 

Almost four years and suddenly he’s interested in the coffee pot. Up until now he only sat on the garbage can to the right and watched me (helped).
