Sounds great, but you can grab a 2019 Pro right now and save a ton of cash over tryingto get a 2020. The updates aren’t all that at all. Definitely not worth thousands more.

I put in an order yesterday for an AG Pro w/ MT & was told to be prepared to wait up to 4-6 months. The sales manager told me that the dealership has never been allocated a Pro, so I was basically going to have to wait in line for the truck to be built (my words, not his). He did say that once Toyota accepts my order (hopefully by the end of next week), I'll get visibility on build date & delivery, so it could be sooner than 4-6 months. Pretty sure he gave me such a long lead time to temper my expectations.

I'm not in a huge hurry, I can wait. I'm looking at it like I have more time to get a higher down payment together & to start hoarding the accessories I want to add as soon as I get it :D

The seat and car play are deal breakers for me. A 2019 wouldn’t work for me if it cost half as much.

A bold statement to make in a thread full of people who are eagerly buying the 2020s. Pretty sure we all have weighed our options and made our decision. Are you trying to convince yourself?

Stopped by my Subaru/Toyota dealer today, my sales guy is very chill and wants me to buy what I want, not what he wants to sell me (unlike the dealer where i bought my Tacoma from). He also was asking questions about my use, he was really interested in if I would use a truck as a truck or if a SUV would be more practical, I like that kind of sales person. He also doesn't care I might take a couple months to decide. I took an Ascent out for a drive, it rode really nice, good power, and I'm a sucker for the tech in it, but don't like the lower ground clearance. Ah decisions decisions, I'll probably go rent each one for a day and put some miles on and see how I like them.

I test drove a 19 TRD OR Tech+Prem DCLB (which is what I want if I do Tacoma) and a 4Runner ORP (no KDSS as they had none with it to test but want it). I plan on trying to rent a Tacoma, 4Runner and Ascent for a day each and put some miles on them to get a feel for each one, and load them up with cargo to see how it all fits.

You might look for a different thread since the focus of this one is the 2020 Tacoma.

I'm only going to buy 2020's, I'd get an adv tech + premium TRD OR DCLB Taco if I go that route.

Are the 20 Pro taillights different from the 19s or are they the same?

Has anybody gotten pricing thru Costco program yet? I didn't know they did this until i read it on this blog. Curious if that's even worth checking into?
