    Hey all,

I flashed my truck last night with the 91 Performance tune, its exactly as advertised but I will probably run the 91 Base for the fuel economy it provides. I can run 94 w/10% Ethanol blend but the fuel economy on that fuel has been atrocious in every vehicle Ive run it in so I run Shell 91 in everything.

Before I get roasted w/ "hAvE yOu TrIeD SeArCh ButTon"...I have and I did not find a satisfactory answer.

So my question is, If Im going to be towing is it optimal/safer to run the 91 Performance or am I going to be operating in a safe range as far as AFR's etc go on the 91 Base? I had a Subaru STi with AccessPort that had an OTS economy tune and the way it was achieved was to lean it out. Reflashing often is not an option - Moving countries/travelling between them alot with the truck, flying etc is not practical to lug around my laptop. I live at 3500ft elevation, my trailer weight will be around 3000lbs, the distance will be roughly 2300 miles with 33s and a 2"/1" lift if that matters.

    Thanks.

No you can use the 91 base just use the ECT mode and put the gear to S5 on heavy towing.

    Yeah right... wife excuse..

Speaking of 87/92 on later version of 2.0..
Something wrong with this version. I drove significant miles on both octanes and truck is not going. I feels like something is restricted like airflow, fuel. Idk.

I did experiment and reset engine LVs with 92 octane.
Truck drove amazingly for about... 70 miles and now the dull performance is back.

There are drops in rpm during shifts that making the acceleration jerky. Used to be somewhat linear.
And driving in stop&go traffic is efing insane due how the tranny is dealing with engine braking.
You go to 5th, release the pressure on the pedal due to traffic and this aggregate starts engine braking and go to 4th, the gap is getting bigger, you step on the acelerator and nothing happens for a sec. Rinse and repeat...
I dont see any differences between 87 and 92 octane on this version and dont expect getting better in coming realese.
July version was good. Need a few minor changes, but somehow we ef'ed up..
