Besides comfortable seats and enough storage room is there anything I should be really looking at? I'm wanting to kayak the green river but more than likely I'll have to do it in three day increments.

The only other thing I’d advise for long trips is adding a bunch of tie down points.

    This.
I much prefer my sit-in. And I fish with it, too. I say that because sit ons are more popular for fishing, don't really know why. My Future Beach Voyager has served me well the past couple years. I could probably camp 3 days out of it, just need beer deliveries.

Looks like the newest model has been revised, mine doesn't have an open rear, but another bulkhead: https://www.dunhamssports.com/produ...71&prefv1=Future+Beach&prefv2=ALL|171&start=1

Sit ins are not ideal for long trips. You can fit more on a kayak than in one.

This is also true. Just can get top-heavy. However, sit ons are usually a bit wider for that reason.

That's the reason I was interested in the sit on top because I felt like it was more stable and it seemed like it had a little more room for gear

Not mine for sale, but I saw a smoking deal on 2 sit-on-tops near Nashville! $180 for two is a steal

After getting truck fixed, I managed to get the body shop to order me a color matched grille.
I’ll throw it on sometime this weekend and give the radiator a good cleaning.

So anybody in the Tennessee valley got some 285/75/16 MT’s and are looking for something milder? Thinking about trading my Cooper Adventurer AT’s (same tread pattern as Discoverer) straight up for some used MTs same size or 305’s nothing bigger than that. Still got a lot of life in em. (Observe the penny measurement. Respect and abide by the penny measurement)
