In case anyone's curious, I tried to get some form of visual comparison between the v1 Stage 1's and the v2 Stage 1's / Stage 1.5's. Definitely noticeable in the switchback in person. Cell phone camera obviously can't capture it well, plus the daylight background makes it harder to tell. Anyway... thanks MESO for continuing to make great stuff.

@MESO bought your v1.5 taillight kit. I noticed that one of the bulb for the red light (brake light) is bright all the time when you turn on your lights at night. When you press the brake it does not change like the other 3 bulbs in the kit. Is this possible or i just need to take the bulb and reverse it? Thank you!

So i did try to switch the bulb from the other red. It is still bright all the way while the other is not. I concluded that i got a defective bulb. Hope MESO can send me one replacement.

I installed my stage 1 total tails last night, and just wanted to check. Is hyper flashing while using your turn signal in reverse normal? Is it just because they are switchbacks? Hazards in reverse don't hyper flash but turn signals on both sides do. Everything works fine other than that.

Mine does the same thing, do you get hyperflashing when using ONLY your turn signal? Getting some resistors to fix my hyperflashing on signals.

@MESO commented about reverse and running the turn signal. They will not work together. see quote below.

I understand what MESO was saying, I was just asking if he got any hyperflashing with signals only. If so, he should contact MESO to get resistors to fix it. I have hyperflashing with signals, contacted MESO, should be fixed in a few days.

I like how the stage 1s work in regards to turn signals while in reverse. There is that slight delay when the color changes but just a side effect of the switchback unit.

Installed the stage 1 kit this morning. Easy install and a huge improvement over stock. The turn signal / hazard is much more visible. @MESO Thanks for bringing another great product to market.

Yup I also have hyper flashing. The videos I posted are pretty much in order with the first two videos that were recorded right after the initial install. If you look at the videos it's always the left side hyper flashing. Then on the last 4 or 5 videos I swapping the bulbs around thinking that was the issue but it seemed to get worse. One of the switch back lights started strobing (white and amber) for no reason. I contacted @MESO and within 5 minutes he responded. I'm not electrical genius but I'm sure resistors will fix the issue. Not sure if it will fix the strobing, probably have to play around with the switch back lights.

I also forgot to mention that when I set the flashers on there was a bit of a lag on the right switchback. I tried recording it but the camera wasn't picking up what I was seeing. Both light seemed to not flash at the same time.

I get hyper flash only when in reverse with turn signal on, both sides. I don't get hyper flash in reverse with hazards on, I just thought that was weird. Turn signals work normal in every other condition.

Yeah I would be able to live with it too, not a big deal. Just wondered if it was normal.

I saw that, but he didn't say anything specifically about hyper flash I don't think. I know the bulbs can't be both white and amber at the same time, just wondered if the hyper flash was normal. The hazards work fine and switch between amber and white if I turn them off while in reverse.

I too am having some of the mentioned hyper-flashing issues. On my truck, hyper flash occurs every time when I use the right hand turn signal. The left turn signal appears to function normally. However, hyper flash does occur on both Left and Right turn signals when I then shift into reverse. My hazard signals appear to be unaffected by any abnormal flashing. I'm hoping that once incorporating the said resistors - these undesirable issues will disappear.

Just for reference, not sure if it's been posted recently. But here's a quick run through of the lights functioning (for me at least), minus the hyper flashing of course. XD You get the picture, and for anyone curious you can see how the reverse/signal is handled, and the slight delay in LEDs swapping colors. They're beautiful lights, definitely worth the buy for anyone still debating on it.

Just an audio warning, was near fan, might want to mute/lower volume. I'm no youtuber, just wanted a vid for reference.

I keep seeing that people are complaining about hyperflashing turn signals while in reverse....I'm trying to imagine how you found yourself in this situation. However, while I'm here, I'd like to report hyperflashing while my truck was inverted and completely submerged in a nearby lake. I sure hope this is resolved soon, otherwise, I'm one unhappy customer.

Stating any conditions that hyper flashing occurs can typically be helpful for a remedy. Sorry to hear about your submersible adventure going awry. Try holding your breath a little longer until some help arrives.
