The electrode still has a squared edge on it though.

I usually change my copper users between 20k to 24k. Haven't see that in years. It was common back in the old days with leaded fuel and additives.

You havent seen the white deposits?

I just did a plug job on my dads 08, it wants copper plugs too. None of them looked anything like that one out of the 22RE. The 08 had atleast 35k on its plugs, dunno when they were last done but they werent original.

Welp, after talking it over, my dad wants to get it cleaned up and list it for sale tomorrow.

New owner will get 36oz of fresh Toyota red coolant that I just poured in.

Pics from the 98 model 4Runner engine with 70,000 miles. Tips showed a lot of wear but otherwise ok. I suspect they were original.

Pretty sure original plugs would be 3 denso, 3 ngk. Weird thing Toyota does on their older V6's from the factory.

I wonder which brand is under the coils? Could one be hotter/colder than the other? I wonder if I messed up by using all Denso.

Nah youre fine. Toyota has NGK and Desno supply factory plugs. In case one supplier should shut down for whatever reason, they have a backup. Its just a way to tell if their original or not.
