So far, I'm really impressed with this grill. The build quality is solid. Parts are held together with brass screws. You can separate the center grille from the surround for painting. The lights are also easily removed.

I'm in the process of painting. I won't be assembling until next week. Obviously I can't comment on the final fit yet, but so far I'm really impressed with the quality, especially for the price.

Finished up the passenger side in its entirety and only managed to start 5 fires in my truck. After two, I put my wife on fire watch. To my surprise I was able to retain the stock cab mount (barely). Caulked the seam inside and out, and used flex seal all over so she should be nice and water tight.

I just used the same screw locations that were already there. I just moved the plate up to mount through the bottom plate holes. I also used a vise to bend the plate a little to kinda form to the bumper. Nothing to crazy

I'm sure you've already told this but can you give the specifics on where and from whom you got this. Want to order one asap. Did you paint with a rattle can? If so was it Dupli color match?

I picked up a grease gun at Lowe's tonight. One of those mini grease guns with 3 Lucas mini tubes. 2 of the green Extra Heavy Duty and one Red N' Tacky.

I sell and deliver Lucas stuff for my day job but we do not have the mini tubes at work.

Couldn’t beat the price I got on these through discount tire. $1299 out the door for all five with certificates and install and tax and free lifetime rotations. Definitely on a bit of a narrow wheel (7.5”) but that’ll be awesome offroad.

I've been thinking of the same setup. How does it sound and did you keep the same head unit?

I'm thinking about taking off my topper and rack- I don't really like how they look. I also want different tires and wheels. The bronze thing keeps nagging at me- and I think new headlights are in order. ANyone have recommendations on new headlights?

I’ll allow you to run bronze wheels like me if you give me your topper :D

Old pic but you get the point...and I recommend the trd pro headlights if you don’t want them fully blacked out

Edit: just noticed your name is Josh too haha
