IDK if it does that on the trd trucks, but I kinda like it

 

Mine are totally blacked out except halos. Lenses however are untouched and perfectly clear. Actually even more clear than stock with totally clear lenses instead of lightly frosted or diffused. But you are correct. It's not for everyone.

 

One Alu-Cab RTT for me and one for another Tacoma...

 

panel is in. and fully operational.

 

Today I blacked out the chrome parts of the rear bumper. No chrome left on the truck.
Used Avery wrap vinyl in satin black.

 

Nicely done! Very clean.

 

Picked up a new dash cam the other day! Hardwired it into the Yota ('19 CCSB Sport 6MT).
Looks slick but completely out of the way!

What do ya'll think?

I used this ^ and just replaced a fuse.
Used the washer fluid fuse and replaced it with this harness to make sure it would power on when the key was turned on.
Simply ran the wires up the A pillar behind the molding and carefully tucked the wires under the headliner.
Came out to be a really clean install and didn't hardly take any time at all.

 

Painted front calipers with the duplicolor kit. I'm just not sure about their stuff anymore. It turned out fine, just not as smooth as I hoped. Lot of work for an ok payoff.

 

I figured you would have painted them red to match your red accents.
Looks like a good job!
I did mine red about 3 years ago with a Krylon paint. Still holding up.

 

Been thinking of doing the same thing. I dont think its really going to be smooth like a Brembo or Stoptech. Unless someone figured it out? i mean i guess you can sand the surface down smooth? still looks good and clean.
