Yeah I’m wondering if it’s been people on edge. Sounds like it was reported in a movie theater. Last report I saw was that it was some kids yelling it was a shooter...wouldn’t put it past some kids with the swat shit kids pulled

Hhhmm, Regal Cinema in Ballston is showing "Angel has Fallen" and the latest "Fast and the Furious" movie and someone heard gunshots in the movie theater?

    Shocking.

Did they wonder why the shooter had a bass driven soundtrack playing during his shooting spree?

Sooo in my rewire the truck adventure I've gotten myself into i ran a wire to the swingout for some sort of light. I want something that can light up the area surrounding the truck without blinding everyone. Im also hoping to find something low powered enough that i could leave it on all night. I guess like a lantern or something? Any thoughts?

Why do you want to leave it on all night? You afraid of the dark?

I was gonna suggest the new Baja S1 but it draws 1.45A. You might want something lower draw if you want it on for such a long time.

Since i sleep in the bed i figured a low output light would be nice for seeing what I'm doing when if. I wake up in the middle of the night.

    A thing or two...
I think your best bet is going to be something like a rock light (https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/Rock-Light.asp). It draws less than 0.5A and has a 180 degree light cone. To truely not kill people's night vision, you would want to go with red.

They make a "dome" light as well, which is just the rock light with a built in switch. https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/Dome-Light.asp

Sounds like two different applications. Get up in the middle of the night to piss, and your eyes are very dark adapted. So you a 15 lumen light will be plenty. Enough light to see well enough right after the sun went down to work/set up camp etc and you would want more.

So maybe a small strip of leds that you cut to size tucked away and then a higher lumen lamp up higgh as a work light. Or same light but on a dimmer switch? I had thought about trying ditch lights on the side of my roof rack on a dimmer switch. Bright for wheeling and dim for camping.

This might just do the trick. They look small enough that they could be added to my roof rack as well, where you could turn on just what you need.
