Rode this beast today, some up and down the neighborhood and some tricks.

Same one I posted a couple days ago. The first pic was it when I got it in June last year. This is how I rolled it out for the start of bike season.

At his age, there's no doubt he's on TRT. Exogenous test is much more potent than a natural test we produce. He's also very wealthy, no doubt he's running some hgh to help with anti aging and muscle recovery. Also, elk... I'm sure he eats like a king too.

As for real use of roids, I doubt it. Maybe at most he could be on low dose primobolan, this will aid is prevention of muscle in all extremes. Very low dose is very therapeutic and would never result in "looking" like you're on drugs.

Androgen transform you into looking like you're using, but a pure anabolic will never do such.

    Currently,

    Saucony a8
    Saucony freedom iso 2
    Five fingers
A couple pairs of older asics racing flats that I do yard work in

I am a forefoot striker, and I believe in a barefoot running style, but not going shoe-less. I like lightweight, neutral, and unsupported footwear. And I hate socks, except for runs over 30miles, then I wear them for blister prevention from the inevitable dirt that gets in the shoes. I trail run in my worn-down daily runners. Currently I'm running in freedoms. Its heaviest shoe I've worn in awhile, but the extra padding makes the ~1mile of concrete I run on my way to dirt trails much easier on my knees. My all time fav shoe was a silly pair of barefoot Saucony shoes that was basically 1cm of padding with a stretchy ultra thin upper. Weighed like 2oz for the pair and didn't have laces!

I had strong opinions on Cam for awhile. I hated his youtube content, honestly. I found him kinda bro-esk in a bad way. Then I watched the JRE show episode of him, realized he is doing his best to make money in a sport where people don't and changed my mind. He also does 100+ mile ultras, so I like him for that. He defines the hunter-athlete, and I respect that.

    I like the Saucony Guides.
Asics Nimbus for easy or long runs and the 1500s or Kayanos for speed training.

I like relatively neutral shoes or minimal support. I’m an over pronator but don’t like supportive shoes.

I think its interesting you didn’t list a trail shoe. I was wondering if I needed one. Although in all my trail races 6-18 miles I’ve only worn road shoes and it was not detrimental.

I’m remembering how expensive it was to be a runner. I alternate 3-4 pairs of shoes at a time. God damn these things new cost $140-$160 :bananadead:

    But

There was some Chicarons in the basket that went missing

    Soda/coke is genuinely nasty IMO

Not with Jack or Jim in it

At least Coke Zero. Regular sugared soda is nasty.

I shop Amazon hard for shoes. Someone is always selling the off color from last year for half off, or at least sub $100. I moved away from trial shoes in general because almost all of the "runable" trails don't require it, and my feet are happier in the technology and comfort of a road shoe on trails. When I'm hiking, or doing an approach for a climb, then I wear trail runners. I rock La Sportivas for this purpose. These are weird in that every pair fits differently, so its kind of a crap shoot.
