    Yup thats a zip tie. I don't carry my hilift all the time and only need it when going on planned offroad trips. This is super accessible I already carry a knife. I’d probably replace it with a velcro strap if I see a lot of use on my hilift.

    My advice? Get a set of mini diagonal cutters for those zip ties. Fumbling around trying to cut them with a knife in the dark or wet especially when it's cold out is not going to be fun.

    Do you Offroad with your tailgate open? If not, why does it need to be zip tied down? It’s heavy enough that it isn’t going to be rolling around.
