So this is the invoice my dealership gave me for my 2020 TRD OR DCSB with Tech (not Advanced), Premium, and carpet floor mats. She offered it to me $1,000 over invoice price. She had to A-trade it from out of state since the "Tech, not Advanced Tech" isn't a configuration for my region, and it's getting built Sept 28th. I don't feel like they're going to budge on that price. $1,000 over invoice seems pretty good considering these trucks are just now hitting the lots.

Yeah I traded in my G35. Make sure you ask for John with the Costco program.

Worth is subjective, I suppose. Avoiding the haggle of putting LEDs into the headlight unit, adding a power driver seat, upgrading the center console, and the AG colorway in Pro trim is well worth it to me. Plus I love the symmetry of "2020" :p

Finally made some headway on negotiations on an AG Pro! Las Vegas dealers were blatantly ripping me off, so I looked to Phoenix. I have 2 dealers quoting me MSRP (or possibly lower since I would have to commute from LV to AZ), plus taxes and fees. I'd ideally prefer to give my business to my local dealers, but if they refuse to bend, I'm more than willing to drive the 4 hours to snag an AG Pro at that price.

Yeah I'd be interested to see if anyone who has test-driven the 2020 has seen any significant difference in the drive. If so, I'm hoping this will help with overall gas-efficiency.

Bro, I know the feels. The first couple dealers that I spoke to quoted me a $5k to $7k markup, bringing total price to about $61k. Unwilling to bend too, claiming high demand and low supply. GTFO lol.

Do it. Make a trip out of picking it up. Take photos and post them up. Put my deposit down yesterday for an AG MT Pro.

Yeah I'm HEAVILY considering it. I'd still prefer to support a local dealer, but if all local dealers aren't taking care of me, I won't take care of them. The drive from LV to AZ is actually a very scenic one. It'd be a very gratifying and therapeutic experience, taking a brand new truck on that drive.

I don’t personally like that drive. Recently did Phoenix to Vegas stopping in Sedona. Well, ok, parts of the drive were cool.

Fuck local dealers. Business is business. They are trying to maximize profit (as they should) and you are looking for the best deal (as you should.) This is simple arbitrage. If more people did it, the over MSRP price gouging would stop. My dealer verbally agreed to MSRP a month ago, before pricing was released. I have a bad feeling that now that the price of a decked out OR is so close to a Pro (stimulating Pro demand) they are going to try to renege on that deal and try to gouge me a little bit. Hope I'm wrong.

And like you said, it is a pretty drive and might be fun.

Interesting. So they indicated they will eventually build them with just tech packages? Might be enough to make me wait.

I'll definitely be going with the deal that is better for my bank account, but I still have a place in my heart to support local. However, if they refuse to budge, I will not hesitate to book a $40 one-way flight to AZ to snag the best deal possible.

Okay cool. That does factor in. Can I ask? did they give you KBB value trade in? a little more? Because my guy will use that as a bargaining point. They can say there was more room to move because yada yada... I'll go to Ontario if I have to but Huntington Beach has been really good so far.

I got exactly fair value KBB. First they wanted to do $500 less but they came up
