Milwaukee Fuel heads, have a question about the difference in the Fuel and the Fuel Surge stuff. Is it worth the loot for the Surge features? Looking at Model# 2760-20

    Thanks in advance.

So, I found a bunch of grease slung in my wheel well... I’m pretty sure I’m blaming everyone in this thread for all the banter about lifts and 33s and 35s. You’re all a bad influence... Just sayin’

LIfts, GT says we don't do lifts,.....they are suspension improvements.

Right, right... a “natural suspension enhancement”.

I’m sure it’s common... so where does everyone buy axles? I was looking at these: https://www.cvjreman.com/product/9808r/

Same people and axle that I use. I did not send in my core returns and informed them of that from the start so now I have a pair of OEM axles for emergencies.

Nothing really. The boots will just wear down faster due to the change in the angle of the CV from what I understand. Plus it's a good idea to carry spare CVS when out wheeling because that seems to be one of the number one things to break

I don’t know. Mine have 82k on them with at least 5k of that from wheeling. I did their HD replacements which includes a tested OEM axle and all new parts with the thicker silicone inner boots that withstand abuse better than the originals. I kept my factory CVs to use as emergency spares in case I break something like the inner tulip from adding too much torque while holding the steering wheel at lock.

There is an ongoing group buy here on TacomaWorld for them, might want to find the thread and see if you got the best deal. They are worth it, have had mine on for a few years and really like them.
