I've made some pretty extensive modification to the shifting control and have changed the TPS points for various shift requests.
This has been expanded specifically for 3rd to 4th, and useful feedback is very helpful.
Once again, if you have any issues on the files (not expected)... do not remain on the files, flash back to your previous tune and let us know.
The purpose of these files is for testing our new shift algorithm and engine controls. It is not a finished tune and features may be limited.
Current files implement gearlocking (old method). IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW OUR CURRENT METHOD OF GEARLOCK WORKS DON'T DOWNLOAD THESE FILES.

Yea, but still activated with ECT. I know I know beta.

 

I still have some work to do regarding S mode implementation that also has full gear control (when you shift it shifts, not at the next available "shift point")

 

04B04 Dongle file for stock gears appears to be the p5f file for download.

Did you post wrong file for 04B04 dongle? File extension is p5f and not pcm.

Yes all are gearlock.

 

Damn no 87 tune. Cant get 91 here. And 93 is like 4 bucks a gallon. Looks like I'm out on this one.

 

This will be my first time using a gearlock tune, are there instructions on how to properly use it? You press the ETC button in D and it wont downshift, got that. As you're not in S mode (or can you go in s mode?), can you not shift it up or down in this version of gear lock?

I'm thinking it's meant to be used in S mode, just on the download page its saying if you use it in D mode, it will not downshift and since you're in D, you can't control it?

 

Current gearlock method:
ECT button = Activates Downshift lockout
ECT + D button = will upshift, will not downshift
ECT + S button = you control going up and going down.

Ugh same. 93 is like 60 cents more a gallon and no 91 here.

 

Anything specific that you are looking for with 4.88 gears feedback? I also have 33" tires and the speedo is corrected using a hypertech module.

 

S+ECT is normal shift mode; right now S without ECT IS NOT—-but it will be later
