there is a steering stop cast into the new knuckle. I could be wrong, but to me it seems like I lost about one full wheel rotation before I hit full lock.

not a big deal, just need to get used to it

I have to say your truck is by far my favorite truck on this site. If I could start over I would do exactly what you did. Change a couple things but overall simply amazing. What do you plan for your exhaust set up?

I dont know yet, I am going to look at it this weekend.

I love how the URD catback sounds, but as you can see it doesnt fit with my setup.

I could cut it off under the bed, but I have a hard time hacking up such a nice ( and $$$) exhaust system.

I may take it off and have something custom ran, or at least a custom tail pipe.

I have to do something though

not on this truck , there was one floating around of a fly by in my X-runner

It sounds great under load, a little raspy at startup, but once its warmed up, its super deep. especially with the headers

If you went with custom tail pipe could you keep the catback still? I think you should just cut it a bit I mean if it works for you and don't have any plans of changing the sound then it's all yours ya know?

its a 305 series stainless exhaust adn will never rust. I would hate to cut it up and put in mild steel, and most local shops wont work with stainless.

I can unbolt the tailpipe and take it off and have a custom one ran.

Ill run by a few local shops this weekend

Cut the tailpipe off today over the axle since it was hitting hitting the alcans.

bad idea I think  .

I wont say its louder, but definately doesnt sound as good as it did.

    Its not nearly as deep.

I guess I will have a custom tailpipe made

    a few updates.

    Added some 09+ tail lights

Here is a shot of the chopped tail pipe, its growing on me. its sound like crap when the truck is cold, but sounds really good when its warm, so I will probably leave it like it is

    and some real power adders:rolleyes:

    URD fuse box cover

    yes I am,

I can definately tell they are there power wise. Not so much that the truck wont move them, but as far as shift points and the truck lugging in overdrive.

also, I need to trim the fender flares a bit since they rub a tad when turned ( speed bumps and coming into my steep ass driveway).

I think all the trimming for the 35s would have bugged the shit out of me.

I may still do it down the road, but I will regear to 4:56 if I do.

I played a little with the suspension posing in the ditch in my front yard and it flexes really nice, especially now that my. I think once the spring break in it will be pretty capable if I pull the front sways.
