    About halfway done...
So I have taken my suspension apart a few times and want get replacement nuts for the ball joint. Does anyone happen to know what size the nut is? Is there a better option than nylon lock?

So I did a cursory inspection my UCAs that I installed a couple of weeks ago. One thing I noticed is that I appear to have bushings doing something funky on both arms. I haven't heard or felt anything funny so I'm not too worried about it, yet. Has anyone else seen this happen to theirs? On the passenger arm it's the front bushing, on the driver arm it's the rear.

Could be over greased, but I’m not sure.

Did you loosen the main bolt before greasing?

I did not. I'll have to check if that was in the instructions. Maybe that is common knowledge, I'll keep that in mind for future.

Anyone know what can be done to reseat the bushing? If it's due to overgreasing maybe I can pull the zerk to release the excess. I really hope I can fix this without taking the bolt back out.. PITA.

I’ve had my Icon’s swell up from over greasing but not contort. Jack up the front end, loosen the through bolt and some grease should start coming out the bushings. Then what I had to do was remove all the zerks then tighten the through bolt to squeeze the excess grease out. After doing this, the bushings should look normal, if not, I’m afraid you’ll have to disassemble it to get it to seat properly. I luckily never had to do that last part. I’d admit mine are a little under greased to avoid the swelling which in return does squeak.

Yes. That is correct. These UCA's are not adjustable like the LR UCA's are. They go in one way (as all UCA's) & there is no alignment adjustment at the ball joint itself. The "high caster" is built in to the design of the JBA UCA's. The alignment is only adjusted by turning the LCA cams.

I may purchase these JBA UCA’s if I get larger tires since they will move the tire “forward” in the wheel well. As for now with 265/70r17’s the truck drives great.

I replaced my rusted ball joints with the new cerakoted ones last weekend and while greasing my arms I noticed one of the bushings is shot.

Is this something I did, if so how do I prevent it in the future? Or is it a failure of the bushing?

About 30% of the outer flange is broken and hanging off.

Trying to tell from the pics, but the zerk fittings have not been added, correct? Looks like they’re plugged
