Switch Blank Removal?

Is there a way to remove the switch blank adjacent to the fog light switch without removing the lower dash panel? It seems to be buried above the lower switch bank.

 

Take out that small drawer. Then reach up in there and push from behind.

 

Oh wait. If you mean right next to the fog switch idk.

Yep, that one. It looks like it would be a PITA. I can't even see it up there.

 

I have been wondering the same thing, I just ordered a fog light kit....I will be needing to take out a blank to put my switch in.

This guy managed to do it. You might want to PM him. I gave up and swapped out one of the lower ones for my driving lights.

 

Get 2x pocketknives, pry in very lightly on both sides of the blank, and pull straight out. Works like a charm, regardless of which blank it is.

Edit: It might sound crude but if done correctly it won't damage a thing. It just takes a steady hand.

 

How many posts will it take for this advice to turn sexual? OP, you should be able to pry those empty slots with with a small flat screwdriver. Could electrical tape the screwdriver tip to prevent damaging the plastic.
