It is GL like it always has been. You shift it up and down on your own. Mine shifts when I want it to ;not when it does. I have no lag.

What tune would I use since I have 4.30’s with an auto trans and 33’s?

I’m one of the rare bunch with that combo :anonymous:

Its essentially no different than the stock gearing on stock sized tires. It’s like 5% overgeared

Please don’t take this down until Wednesday... I’m stuck at work and won’t be able to install it. I’m running 4.88’s and would love to give feedback lol

He’s speaking of how you activate gear lock. He’s mentioned that the final version will be through the CC control stalk.

A061 bone stock on new GL tune running 93. 15 miles in and throttle is super touchy. Shifting is a little erratic in D no ECT. Did not reset anything. Going to drive around some more to see if it settles out.

Alas, this afternoon I filled up with 87. 91 was right there (22% more expensive). If I had only known. I guess I’ll try the new beta in two weeks.

Yes, they came out of a MT truck that was doing a regear to 4.88’s...we swapped factory diffs since we both had an off road model.

Odd combo, but it works for me, and only cost a few hundred dollars.

This refers to making GL work in S mode without using ECT and allows ECT to be used with D.He has been working on this for awhile because people want to use ECT with D mode and have it downshift. If you use S mode without ECT now it will shift when it wants to.

The final version of 2.0 will not use the CC stalk to activate gearlock. The CC stalk will be used to change the tune on the fly. On page 1 it says final 2.0 gearlock will be activated by only using S mode

It will smooth out the more you drive it. Mine did and I reset everything.

First Impression - First release had a 4.88 tune for 87 performance. This one - not so much. Only beef with first was the early upshift from 3 to 4. Have an entire tank of 87 to burn and will then add 91 and the updated 4.88 tune. Thanks for the continued work to improve our 3rd Gen machines.

Thanks. Which year truck you using? I see you have 2 listed in your name block but neither are 2018 A061 like mine. Around my neighborhood she is very touchy and jerky. Giving it some time to settle in though.

Wish I could help in the 4.88 side, but no 87 tune and just filled up

2019 04B31 ECU. It is a little touchy, but the more I drove around the better it got.I do 42 miles each way to work. By the end of the day I will love or hate it lol.

My first impression is not too too good. As others have said, its a bit touchy, not as bad as the 91 perf 1.05 tune was. I don't like the 'clunkyness' of the shifting and also it seems like I can feel it downshift a lot more. Getting onto the freeway the shift point at 40-45..feels like it shifts too soon and you lose some momentum, the previous tune was awesome for getting on the freeway.

I know some of this will smooth out as I drive it more so I'm gonna run with it for a week and see if any of these things go away. But after driving this one for a bit, I was wanting to go back to the previous tune.

Again, gonna continue to drive with it for a week or so to see what gets better. Curious to hear what others have to say!
